My fiancé got her K-1 and K-2 visas ("Fiancé Visa")
2013-12-30 Now, she just needs to sell her condo and piano, and resign from her job, then she will move in.

We think it will be around March.

It cannot come soon enough.

When the schools open again, I need to find out how we can get her son started in school here, especially ESL. (English as a Second Language) He's been taking extra English for a long while, so it is pretty good for his age, but Ivy doesn't want him to miss much school at all, or to fall behind.

CR-1 = marriage, then visa for spouse? If so, then no. Our lawyer advised us to take the fiance visa approach, because then, it doesn't seem to the gov't that we got married just to get her a visa and passport. Sure enough, everything went smoothly, if a bit slowly. We've been waiting just over a year so far.
