I received a phone call yester night, knowing that once again my school boy nephew missed because he did not go home as expected and that his mother did not know what to do and only sat waiting at home.My nephew is a boy who lives a not so happy life, his father died when he was so young that he did not even know how to express his own emotion. And his brain seems to develop later than his peers, too. He is always placed at the back row of the seats in the classroom and no classmates are arranged to sit with him by the head teacher of his class, and his mother did not even find time to attend the school parent meetings held ever because she had to work hard to live hand to mouth at a low pay and her employer did not even consider to raise her salary for a long time and she did not ever dare to say no.It was the third or fourth time that my nephew lost his trace, his mother seemed to come to terms with that, but I could not sleep when knowing this. I asked her to make a report to police, but she said it was not good since it was up to the 24 hours limit required by law to make a report for missing case. I could not say anything to reply because I am a man of reason myself.Rolling in my bed for quite a long while, I dialed 110 reporting the case, the lady police officer was nice and asked for details, later a man cop called me back asking me to visit the station for checking the video survaillance monitor for clues. But he also told me that what he could offer was no more than the areas under the control of the station only, and that the kid might have gone far beyond the limit. I remembered that once he even traveled by metro to a long distance place and was returned by a kind-hearted citizen by taxi. He might have taken the ride of metro again to chase his unfulfilled dream. Then I decided to check his whereabout on the route of the metro, which is a new thing in the city. The night was very late, but there were many people doing a lot of things out there, to my amazement. Two girls even took photos in rotation before a commercial complex at 2 am, I couldn't believe my eyes and nearly fell off my e-bike!

When we learnt English the first time in China, we encountered an interesting text in New Concept English, a popular textbook for English learners around the world, and many people may still remember the first lesson of Book 2, where a couple talking too loud in a cinema was warned by their fellow viewer.Yesterday I went to see a film The Wandering Earth with my girl. Originally it had been a date with her girlfriend, but she made a mistake of the time of appointment, then she phoned me to go out to have some fun. The great sci-fi work of China interested us for a while, so we decided to visit the cinema. To tell the truth, since we used mobile phones, we haven't been to any movie theater. So we first had to check with our phone the location of the nearest cinema. Before we went into the hall, two cinema workers standing before the door gave us the glasses to watch the 3D movie. I did not it was a 3D movie until then, so I had some problem with the sanity of the glasses because there had been so many users of the same device. There were quite a number of viewers, to my surprise, because I had thought the time to follow the film had been over. At the beginning of the film, there came a series of adverstisements, including surgery, beer, new film releases, etc, then I began to complain in a loud voice, "We are not here to pay to see ads." My girl said you are an idiot, now what time is it? How can the cinema make profit with only your ticket fare?I looked down on her, knowing she was d$$$ right, at her hand there was a barrel of pop corn, priced higher than the two tickets of the movie and sold by the same theatre. Then the film began officially, but it looked so familiar after so many spoilers available online, and my girl kept telling me or confirming with me the names of the actors or actresses, to show she was a huge fan of the hit film.I rather concentrated on the film itself and did not care a word of hers, but she nagged and nagged, resulting in some headturns from the front rows. I felt embarrassed very much. What a day!I did not remember very well what happened to the earth and the remaining population of 3.5 billion people living in the mole hole, I cared only about the time we could leave the site.

The first day of Chinese Lunar New Year saw a lot of people going out for a trip to seek good fortune. Many scenic spots were full of people. Even some points where there had been few visitors earlier became hot places of interest attracting many tourists.I traveled with my family to a surburban park, a new one covering a very big area. The admission was 60 Yuan for adults each, 30 yuan for students under 16 years old and free for older people over 70 years or model workers at or above municipal level.I made a quick calculation and was discouraged to find that no preferential treatment was applied to our group, so it was a hard decision to make because some visitors had told us that the trip was not worth the value of the money you paid. But we traveled quite a long distance to get here and there was no reason that we should stay out of the park. But it was true we should. The once desolate park was filled with so many people that the managers had turned their smiles into brow-raising. Nobody could find a place to take a photo and older people could not find a seat on the shuttle carts. And the hot sub-tropical sun came out to join the warm atmosphere, many people became uneasy and sweating greatly. Weaker and elder people began to sit on the grass under the tree shade to be undressed, especially those who traveled here from northern part of the country where the temperature is below zero.Half an hour into the garden, we had to withdraw, overawed by the multitude ahead.

Four web users of sports at QQ.com expressed their opinions after Iran, the famed Persian warriors, lost 0:3 to Japan, the Blue Fighters at the 2019 Asian Football Confederation Asian Cup on January 28, 2019. Silver: The people of Japan has owned the three strong points: 1. They dare face their own weaknesses and do what they can to change them; 2. They would learn from those who they think stronger than themselves, without any care about losing face; 3. They are good at making long-term plans, which they will carry out with perseverance until the goal is fulfilled. As far as football is concerned, China has never had the above three points! What we try hard to do is blind formalism. Within the same period of 20 years and with the same weak foundation, Japanese football is the Meiji Reform repeated time and again right before our eyes, and what we do is repeating of the arrogant learning style of the former Great Qing Dynasty: We are a big country, we learn the skills of those foreigners only for the purpose of using them against them. Just Wash Bowls:(Just☂洗碗❤ :) It suddenly occurred to me that the Meiji Reform of Japan you mentioned does have some similarities with the reform carried out during the Qing Dynasty of China; that over more than a century, but the characteristics of both countries can still be revealed through the sports game of football. And now I can fully understand why the devils (nickname of Japanese) can fulfill their reform without any hindrance. I really don’t like Japanese, but there are still many good points of them for us to learn from. I hope our national football team can learn from them with respect and modesty to outdo them in future. CL: Good analysis. Chinese national football team hasn’t had real progress for too long, they are really the shame of the country. Fan of Fishing: My view on the semi-final of Iran and Japan: Iran look like strong bulls, and Japan smart monkeys. Iranians players are at least two size larger than Japanese ones, but the smaller ones could play the bigger ones with ease, with the latter unable to take advantage of their force. The tactics of Japan fully represent the direction of development of East Asia, which will provide good approaches to deal with teams with strong physics such as Iran, Australia in Asia, and Germany, Denmark, England in a bigger landscape. However, all of these must be based on the competent human resources of the game. It is really an enjoyment to see the precise passing of ball and the teamwork in high speed running and the fierce struggling! But looking back to our national team, it is an ordeal to see their clumsiness! No basic action of controlling the ball, such as stopping, dribbling, passing and header, is qualifying, and there is no idea in their heads, then why is there a surprise to see them defeated? In a word, many of the so-called “national footballers” are not qualified for playing football, because they do not have the awareness and intelligence of football, so you must be a fool to ask them to deliver good performance in the field! Without changing the system for talent selection, without making a total change of our existing system of football, the undertaking of football in our country will not have hopes!
