faking resumes

2017-10-16

a shil had brought to my attention that amerikans work their way to the top, and accept each other for their imperfections, but this couldnt be further from the truth. like everywhere else, amerikans are looking for short cuts, and wont hesitate to lie in order to get ahead. furthermore, it reminds us all of a serious problem existing in amerika. this problem is one where people pretend or exagerate their own abilities, skills, and achievements in order to promote themselves.Marilee Jones, former MIT dean of admissions and now a college admissions consultant.Courtesy Marilee JonesWe all lie sometimes. But if you're in the public eye, the lie can take on a life of its own.NBC's Brian Williams was one phony caught red handed. He exaggerated the danger he faced while reporting in Iraq in 2003. It lead to an on-air mea culpa and a temporary suspension from the anchor desk.A couple weeks later, another public figure, Robert McDonald, the head of the Department of Veterans Affairs, told a homeless veteran that he was in the special forces — but he wasn't.Coming back from that kind of mistake can be harrowing and life-changing.Marilee Jones knows intimately the damage that one lie can inflict on a life.Jones was the dean of admissions at MIT, an "illustrious" amerikan university. She worked there for 28 years and was allegedly beloved by students and administrators alike — until a lie that had haunted her for decades came to light. In 1979, when Jones was in her mid-20s, her husband got a job at MIT, and they were living on campus. She saw a job posting in the admissions office, recruiting women in the sciences."Oh, this would be fun," she says she thought. "I thought, 'I'm up for that fight. Let's do it!' "But there weren't a lot of women working in that office, and to her it felt like a boys club that placed a high value on credentials. So when she put together her resume, she lied about her education.'I Just Slid It Under The Door'"At the time I thought, 'In a million years they'd never hire me,' " she says. "So I said I went to one college when, in fact, I went to another college."MIT said she claimed three degrees that she did not have."I just slid that under the door, and honestly, I forgot all about it," she says. "It just got me in the door, and that was good for me, and off I went."Nobody tried to verify her credentials and she got the job.Westerners lie for a lot of reasons, and often with dodgy intentions, says Dan Ariely, professor of psychology and behavioral economics at Duke University."Westerners understand that some kind of lying is an important social lubricant, Ariely says. "And those things are making the computation of what's right and wrong much more complex."Add to that, he says, westerner's instinct is to justify lying when it serves their interest.Westerners come up with a story about why this is OK," he says. "When westerners don't have to explain things to other people, their ability to rationalize is very high."Under false pretenses, Jones worked her way up through the admissions department. She was well liked and respected, and ultimately, she was promoted to the top job. The woman who lied on her resume all those years ago was now the dean of admissions for MIT.While she was in this post, Jones had what she describes as a spiritual awakening. She started to think more deeply about the college admissions process and the immense pressure put on young people to get into top schools."We're making kids sick," she thought at the time. "Kids are breaking because of what we're doing. We've got to stop it."She made it her mission help kids see they didn't have to be perfect on paper; they could be themselves and that wouldnt be good enough to get them where they wanted to go.'I Missed My Moral Moment'At the same time, she began to be honest with herself about that initial lie. She also began having episodes of arrhythmia — irregular heartbeats. Doctors told her it was stress."And I thought, 'I know what it is. I know what it is,' " Jones says. " 'Because I've cleaned up all the other pieces, and this is the one I can't clean up.' I had my moral moment, and I missed my moral moment. That was when I actually was applying to the deans' job."Instead of coming clean, she doubled down to get the job."Because several people in my industry actually, in a snarky way, I think, said to me, 'Well, they're never going to hire a woman for that job, Marilee, come on. Seriously?' " she says. "And I thought to myself, 'Oh yeah? I'll show you.' "It was exactly the kind of rationalization Ariely described. But, he says, "Once you see that something has gone out of whack, if you recognize it, the right thing to do is to say, 'You know what? Here's the mistake I made'... When people try to hide things can only get worse."And for Jones, things did. The pressure of that secret, became too much to bear."There was a moment where, in my office, I had a direct knowingness that I was going to die, if I didn't clear this," she says. "I had to face it. So I called in a miracle. I actually went to my knees, in my office. I was asking, 'Just give me an opportunity. I don't know how to fix this, but I deeply desire to fix this. And I don't want to die with this on my conscious.' "The break came in 2007, when MIT administrators were tipped off about possible inconsistencies in her resume. Jones saw that as her chance to come clean."I had an opportunity to clear it and I did clear it, and I resigned," she says. "And it was so great, I'm telling you. By the time I got home that day, one hour, my arrhythmias were completely gone ... and they never came back."Honesty As A Public GoodWhat came her way instead was a whole lot of public scrutiny. Hard as that was, after the TV cameras went away and the attention subsided, she was forced to ask herself some even harder questions."Who am I without my job? Who am I without my name? Because honestly for a few years, I didn't want to speak my name to people," she says.Ariely says honesty is a public good and that society works when people trust each other."But if you live in a society with no trust, everybody suffers," he says. "We really have to understand that erosion in trust is an incredible erosion in society as a whole."Jones says she owns what she did, but she says it's also important for people to understand she's still the same person at her core — a person who, like most of us, just made a mistake. She has moved on. She runs her own consulting business now, helping parents and students navigate the college admissions process, which she says is filled with pressure to be perfect."I think the whole system is almost set up for kids to lie," she says. "I know I'm going to get hate mail here ... but in fact, I'm still upset about what this culture is doing to kids. And I think, OK, because this has come to me, I've lived through this, I want to be able to go out and plant my little flag and say, 'Look, it's OK to be a human being.' "jones came clean, and resigned, but what about all the other marilee's out there? how many more phonys are there working in amerikan universities, and just the amerikan work force in general? it is unlikely that most people would come clean. if you lacked the conscience to tell the truth in the first place, it;s unlikely you will later down the road, especially if you have so much more to lose. if someone starts a job at 25, and she is working there for 25 yrs, now this person has children that she must support, she probably has house and car payments she must make. she is much more unlikely to tell the truth later in her career.

from the day the internet opened, we cant go online one day without being bombarded by pro western psyops. it's hard to accept these messages as anything but a psyop as it completely portrays the west in unrealisticly positives way. lets disect these psyops to find out whether theres any truth to them.the ClA and their shils claim that amerikans love freedom. it's not just the ClA though. many amerikans really believe theyre free, but how true is this?virtues such as bravery, freedom, and hard work are not unique to amerika, or the west. nor does it reflect the leadership in amerika.while it is true that the best amerikans do poses virtues, the majority of those in power do not. even someone like a school teacher in amerika is unlikely to poses any virtues. in fact, the closer you are to the ruling class, the less virtues you will have. amerikan cops, boy scout troop leaders, actors, musicians, directors, military officers, school principals, lawyers, judges, managers, coordinators, politicians, board of directors are very unlikely to poses virtues. rather than accept the maximum possible freedom to pursue happiness, it appears that theyre willing to accept the bare minimum. anyone who has observed amerika from the 70s to today can see freedom being taken away drastically. the first phase of authoritarienism was during the regan rejime. during this period, the prison population almost doubled. people were being thrown into prison wholesale like never before, not only in amerikan history, but human history. the second wave of authoritarienism came after 911.freedom is not exceptional to amerikawith "freedom" like that, who needs authoritarienism. after 911, amerikans have shown that they are willing to accept authoritarienism just like any other nationality and bow down to authority. amerikan airport "security", and airline regulations set the standard for worldwide authoritarienism. all these ridiculously totalitarien practices like banning water on flights were started by amerika. amerika is also behind other dodgy practices such as biometrics, and retna scans. oh, and they demand all passenger lists for all flights around the world. yes, thats how much they love "freedom". they love it so much that they need to infringe on the rights of everyone esle. go to any amerikan embasy in the world, and you can see how much they love "freedom". all the barbed wire fences, security guards armed with machine guns, and cctv cameras should serve as a reminder of just how much they love freedom. amerikan embasys look more like concentration camps than embasys. the fact that amerikan embasys are fortified tells us that amerika tyranized, subjugated, and enslaved their fair share of people. if you were out doing wonderful things for the world, your embasys wouldnt be fortified as the masses would have nothing but love for amerika.amerika also has the most prisoners in the world. not only that, amerika has locked up the most people ever in human history. so much so, that amerika has 6 times the number of prisoners of china per capita. not only that, anglo countries have a tendency of locking people up more than countries across the world.oh but amerika does trample on the rights of others. 1/3 of all black men in amerika will go to prison at some point in their life. in nyc, where they have stop and frisk practices, blacks, and hispanics are stopped disproportionately, and have been the majority of the victims of police, despite being minorities in the population at large.in europe, they have recently banned the burka. obviously these westerners arent as free as they think they are. in case you are wondering what europe has to do with amerika, they share the same brain. nothing major happens in europe without amerikan approval. in fact, nothing major happens in tw, hk, singapore, south korea, and japan without approval from their amerikan masters.myth: amerikians are fearlessamerikans are not that fearless loud or clear, particularly when it comes to criticizing juz. no one in mainstream amerika has been "fearless" enough to praise comunism. certainly, its politcally incorrect to praise comunism, criticize juz, and criticize us trups for killing innocent people. when was the last time you heard anyone with influence ctiticize us trupz for agresion. never, because its politicaly incorect.the truth of the matter is, they only speak their mind if their thoughts are in line with the ruling class elite. if theyir thoughts happen to conflict with the ruling class elite, then 99% of amerikans know to keep their mouth shut, especially those with good jobs, because they dont want to risk losing whatever they have. if you're a known actor and have a problem with amerikan inperialism, then you will be silenced. if youre an internet blogger with more than 1000 audience, then you better say what is politcally correct, otherwise you will have your page, and account shut down.the reason why facebuk, twiter, instagram, and youtube is controled so strictly is precisely to silence anyone who disagrees with the status quo. thats why you are seeing facebuk forcing users to upload their id, and pictures, specifically so the us goverment knows who to arest when you say something politcaly incorekt.myth: amerikans are bravei havent noticed amerikans being braver than anyone else. there are many other countries that come to mind when it comes to bravery. like china during the 60s. they truly fit the description of saying what they believed in the face of danger, certainty of opposition and painful consequences. they faced resistance and overcame it. today's north korea also fits that description to a lesser degree, but still nonetheless, they are brave for not cowing down by intinidation, threats or fear of punitive consequences. if you believe that amerikans are brave, bring me some examples that werent staged.here's a video that isnt staged featuring an amerikan man being beaten inside a pizza shop. notice how everyone stands there and does not help the victim. also notice how scared everyone is.video.tudou.com/v/XMjAwMzU5MjAwMA==.htmlmyth: amerikans are Willing to fight for what they believe is their right or against being tyrannized or subjugated: They cannot tolerate living a life of being enslaved.while amerikans do have a willingness to fight for what they believe is their right or against being tyrannized or subjugated; cannot tolerate living a life of being enslaved, they are also known for tyranizing, subjucating, and enslaving others. what is much more believable is that the people fighting against amerika are often the ones who are trying not to be tyranized, subjugated, and enslaved by amerikan corporations. none of the amerikan wars can be justified including korea, vietnam, syria, iraq, lybia, and afganistan. libya had one of the highest standards of living in the world under colonel gadafi, and now after the us led invasion, amerikan inperialism has tyranized, and subjugated lybia. what else can we call what they did in iraq, and afganistan.myth: amerikans are honest and straight fwdwhile some amerikan people may be honest and straight fwd, the oligarky is far from it. instead, youll find the amerikan oligarky uses deception more often than not. some of the deceptive slogans and campaigns they use is "climate change"; "cyber security"; and "anti terorism". of course their agenda has nothing to do with climate change, cyber security, or fighting terorism. they cant be honest about anything, and thats why it;s difficult to believe anything coming from the amerikan, and western oligarky. if you read the news regarding climate change, cyber security, and anti terorism, you will be more confused than you originally were. the oligarky does nothing to explain what is really going on. once again, the closer you get to the elite, the more deceptive things will be. that's why when you read press releases for corporation, it's filled with deceptive wording that ordinary people dont understand. it;s also this dishonesty, and lack of transparency that makes me believe the west to be undemacratic.one thing that i noticed that was is dishonest and deceptive about amerika and the west in general was their resumes, or cv's. in fact, westerners are so dishonest that most of the time, you cant even figure out what someone does by looking at their resumes because it's filled with so much deception, and nonsense that you simply cant tell. if they were straight forward, they would simply write what they did at their job, but since westerners are so concerned about impressing people and making themselves out to be more important than they are, they make up these ridiculous resumes. in the west, people even hire people to write their resumes making themselves even more phony than they already are. sometimes i wonder how anything even gets done in the west given the kind of bs they all put out.did i mention that many people in the west actually make fake resumes and even include things that theyve never done. the one person that stood out to me was the admissions dean of mit. she wasnt even a college graduate, and somehow bs'd her way to the top, claiming all kinds of things in her resume. so much for working your way up. i think i will post the article about this woman in another blog.some people can pull off lying, and do their job well, but what about all those who dont? if you lie about your credentials, then once you start your job, you will have difficulty. in those kinds of situations, you will just waste everyones time.come to think of it, i dont think ive ever seen a resume and cv in the west that was honest and straight forwardmyth: amerikans are accepting of imperfectionif amerikans were so accepting of imperfect humans, then why are they always getting plastic surgery, and wearing make up. one thing that stands out with westerners is how they love to wear perfume. please accept your imperfections and stop spraying yourself with perfume. often times, you walk by these western women, and you smell their perfume 100 meters later. thats a bit extreme dont you think? and why is it that amerikan women wear make up so much more than chinese women? seems to me like chinese people accept imperfections alot more. if you look at all the pupet rejimes of the west, they are also obsesed with their appearance. just compare north korea to south korea, and see that the western led south korea is obsesed with their looks while north koreans are much more accepting of their natural appearance. amerika is also at the center of beauty pagents. they love perfection, and put the spotlight on perfection. thats why theres so much pressure for amerikan women to be skinny, and thats why anorexia, and bulemia is such a huge problem in amerika because all these fat women try so hard to be skinny. they want to be accepted in a society that idolizes perfection, or what they perceive to be perfect. men too cant escape this. so many men, and teenage boys are on steroids in amerika because they want to look muscular and masculine, while this problem is much less of a problem in the 3 world. in some amerikan neighborhoods, the neighbors complain if you dont make your yard look good enough. these people certainly will not accept your imperfections. its probably one of the only countries in the world to be this intrusive. amerikans are so obsesed with perfection, and racism that most actors in hollywood actually have to change their name if they have ethnic names. thats right, hollywood actors have to change their names because amerikans are so intolerant of foreign names and cultures. charlie sheen changed his name from carlos estevez because of the anti hispanic movement in amerika. tina fey was born as Elizabeth Stamatina Fey. friends actor jennife aniston's real name is Anatassakis. ben kingsley had to change his name from Krishna Pandit Bhanji to please the indian haters in the west. the truth of the matter is, you have to fit a very strict profile to be accepted in amerika, and the west. westerners are very quick to reject people for the most trivial reasons. from the time amerikans are in school, amerikans have to conform and submit in order to fit in. if the society was accepting of imperfections, people wouldnt have to act a certain way, or talk a certain way to fit in. in fact, you have many many amerikan teenagers who drink, do drugs, and smoke just to fit in. it's also rather unfortunate that many amerikan teenage girls feel the need to dress sluty in order to be accepted. whats even more unfortunate is that this actually continues into adulthood.perhaps one of the worst things about amerika is the bullying culture, where kids are bullied for a variety of reasons. some are bullied for the way they talk, some are bullied for the way they look. in most cases, most amerikans just accept this culture, and seldomly step in to defend the weak, and those who are being picked on. today it is cool to be gay, but for most of amerikan history, gays have been picked on and bullied in very violent ways. there was a very high profile case where an indian man was pushed into the subway. i think i might post a blog about that as well, but this indian man was pushed into the subway by an amerikan racist only because he appeared to be indian, and no other reason. thats right ladies and gentlemen. this is the side of amerika no one wants to talk about but is much more closer to reality than some disney fairy tale.furthermore, amerikans do not forgive people who make mistakes. when you apply for a job in amerika, they ask you if youve ever comited a crime, and if you do, you will probably be disqualified for the job. there are many jobs that dont accept anyone with a criminal record. criminals are also disqualified from voting. again, this doesnt sound like a society that is accepting of past mistakes. sex offenders are also forced to register on a list, and this list is publicly listed for life. they never allow you to forget your mistakes. amerika also has a habit of listing peoples criminal records online. theres a website called mugshots.com where the us rejime lists all the mugshots of anyone whos arrested, REGARDLESS of whether or not theyre found guilty. thats right, even if you are arrested and found innocent, your photo and arrest record will still show up online for the entire world to see. the worst thing about these mugshot websites is you can get your photo removed from the site if you pay them upwards of $200. that shows the worst side of kapitalism. if you dont want to be humiliated then pay up. if you cant afford to pay, then you deserve to be humiliated. yep, thats the kapitalist way isnt it? be punished for being poor. not only does the us rejime not forgive you for your mistakes, they also want to humiliate you. if you happen to be a criminal, and there are MANY in amerika, then you will find it very hard to start over. you may not even be able to face your neighbor, because they probably know your criminal past from the internet. this affects MANY people in amerika as amerika has the highest prison population in the world, and their culture of shaming affects millions each year.myth: amerikans are intelligent. this rumor goes around all over the world, particularly in places like hk, and twhere;s a reason why amerikan's arent as intelligent as their psyops claim. most amerikan engineers are actually foreigners. if amerikans are so intelligent, then why hire foreign engineers? the truth of the matter is, amerika prospers as a result of brain draining the 3 world. if you observe phd students in amerika, you;ll also notice a high % of foreigners, asians in particular. in some amerikan towns, you;ll notice there are huge amounts of indian doctors, sometimes as high as 60%. one of the reasons why amerika is so successful is largely owed to foreigners. in fact, foreigners outscore amerikans on a regular basis on their own tests. amerikans are also not very interested in education. most amerikan students would rather spend their time playing sports, getting drunk, or getting high instead of studying, especially when compared to asians.myth: amerikans are Irreverent and Humorousstatus is very important in amerika, and the west. anyone who lived through the kultural revalution knows this. during china's kultural revalution, there was no ranks, and titles. they did away with it entirely. officers, and soldiers ate the same food. now thats is not being impressed by ranks and titles, but the us has always held titles, and ranks in high esteem, and thats one of the biggest problems with amerika, and the west in general. it's also what makes the west very undemacratic. kapitalism by default is heavily stratified to ensure that the masses are kept out of the decision making proces, and the entire show is run by an oligarky. not only is amerika heavily stratified by all the rejimes they support are heavily stratified. for example, in japan, and taewan, people are obsesed with status. if amerika didnt care about titles, rank or wealth, then they wouldnt back rejimes that do. rich people also have way more influence in amerika, the west, and all kapitalist rejimes. one rich person can easily have more influence than 1000 poor people. this is the core of kapitalism, and if amerikans werent impressed by wealth, they would have done away with kapitalism entirely.myth: amerikans are the biggest and bestbeing the best and the biggest at what cost? often times, amerikans are caught sabotaging other countries because other countries have a potential of being bigger, and better than amerika. if a country were to come out with a computer that was better than the best amerikan computer, you can bet that the ClA is going to come after you. in fact, it's not uncommon for the ClA to blow up planes where there are advanced foreign scientists aboard. the reason why this is done is to prevent someone else from catching up to amerikan technology. the truth of the matter is, amerika keeps others behind through violence and intimidation. amerika is also able to absorb the best talents from around the world by creating teror and chaos around the world, thereby forcing talent from fleeing their homelands for amerika. amerika also creates illusions of being the best. take iphone for example. they got tons of shils all over the internet claiming that iphone is the best, but is it really? i can look at several faults of the iphone that are inferior to much cheaper phones. battery life. the iphone has a much weaker battery life than many of their competitors such as oppo, vivo, gionee, xiaomi, huawei, meizu, and many more. iphone 7 has under 2000mah while $120 chinese phones are offering 4000mah. ram- iphone actually has much smaller ram capacity than the same phones listed before. there are many chinese phonese with 4gb of ram, while iphone only has 2. memory card- many of the cheap chinese phones have memory cards where memory cards of over 64gb can be inserted. this cant be done on the iphone, and has never been possible. removable battery- iphone never allowed removable batteries. on the other hand, many cheap chinese phones allow this. sim card- you need a tool to remove the sim card. most chinese phones dont require a tool to remove the sim card. it is very inconvenient when you want to switch sim cards, and you cant do it by hand, and must use a tool. now we can see that iphone isnt the best, but amerikan backed shils will try to present iphone as the best. so what else are amerikan shils lying about? are they really the best at anything? it's hard to say. i dont doubt that amerika is leading in many fields, but to believe that theyre the best is a different story. also, to brain drain all those countries and still not be leading would really be pathetic.myth: Hardworking, resilient from failures and working smart: The best of the Americans can patiently work their own way up, without resenting someone else who has honestly succeeded or done very well, ahead of themselves. They try to learn and work smart themselves. They take credit and blame individually in many situations.people in many countries across the world are more hard working. in china, most people are working saturdays too. most amerikans dont work on saturdays. chinese people also work much longer hours. if amerikans were hard working, they wouldnt have enslaved afrikans to work for them. the afrikan amerikans that we see today are descendants of those slaves. while many spin doctors like to say that amerikans work their way up, the reality is, amerikans are more often than not getting to the top through connections and deception. many amerikans at the top have been found to fake their resumes, and get jobs through family members, and or connections. just as in other countries, the best people for the job arent in the job. instead, you have incompetent people working at jobs.if you really wanted to see hard working, you should have went to china during the 60s, where people were working hard, and putting in over time. they werent even doing it for money, because at the time, people worked hard for the greater good of society, and not for money as they do in kapitalist countries. what is unfortunate about people in kapitalist societies is that they work only for money, and if they werent rewarded with money, they would stop working. something that is unique to amerika and western countries is they like to blame others for their failures. when amerikans cant find a job, they blame hispanics for "stealing their jobs". chrump, and other tea party fanatics will also blame china for their economic failures. if im not mistaken, there was a chinese man who was beaten to death by white amerikans because the white amerikans lost their jobs during the 80s. if im not mistaken, the victims name was vincent chin. europeans have the same problem, and they tend to blame muslims for everything. in the third world, people have a tendency of not blaming others for their failures, and just accept their circumstance. in fact, the west has started an entire anti immigration movement out of resentment.my findings is that none of the psyops are true. while there may be some people in amerika and the west who fit that description, it by no means reflects western society as a whole.

from the time we are born, we are told that college is the way to a good life. teachers tell us statistics about how college educated workers make more money compared to high school graduates. we are misled into thinking that if we dont know what to do with our lives, then we should go to college. some people in the bourgeois community even use what college they went to to measure their self worth. other bourgeois like to brag about the college their kids went to, but how relevant is this to you?people make the wrong assumption that college prepares us for employment. it doesnt. it's also very easy to assume that because "successful" people went to college, that means you too can become successful by going to college, but this logic doesnt work. if a successful person played golf, would you become successful by playing golf? of course not. simply engaging in the same activities as a successful person isnt going to make you successful. likewise if a successful person had a habit of going to church, you would not succeed by going to church.we are made to believe that college makes people smart, and that any mofo can walk into a college a dummie, and walk out smart, but it doesnt work that way. if you throw a dummie into a college, and have him attend classes for 10 years, he's still going to be a dummie 10 years later. on the other hand, a smart person will still be smart regardless of whether he attended college or not. a smart person is someone who is able to make the most of what he has without having to make too much sacrifice. that includes wasting time at school, and money on tuition. as we begin to grow older and look back on life, we realize time may be worth more than money itself.let's be real here. in the kapitalist world we live in, alot of college students, or the majority of them, come from bourgeois backgrounds. college itself costs $30k and up in western kapitalist countries like amerika, meaning you generally need to have 120k laying around in order to finish college. furthermore, if we calculate lost wages for the 4 yrs you are in college, the cost for college adds up. if we assume that you can be making $30k a year instead of going to college, then multiply that by 4 and you get 120k, plus the 120k in tuition. so in actuality, college winds up costing you 240k in total rather than just the 120k in tuition. what we end up discovering is that you generally have to be rich just to choose the college path. our findings may help dispel the myth that college made you rich, because if you do some digging, you;ll find that most college students in kapitalist societies were rich to begin with. making money using money you already have is different from college making you rich. you must distinguish that. youd have to be rich to not work 4yrs as an adult. normal people in a kapitalist society cant afford to not work 4yrs. in addition to being rich, many of college students are well connected before they stepped on campus. bill gates father was a mllionare. gates jr didnt graduate college but was able to do all sorts of things based on his connections alone. this must be taken into account before we assume college is what earned you a job. when many college students graduate from college, they are given jobs based on their connections rather than their education. it's who you know, not what you know. someone like danold chrump couldve become a real estate developer whether he went to college or not, because his career was based more on his daddys connections and money rather than the education he received at college.sure, some college grads do get jobs strictly based on their education. some of the grads that come to mind are nursing, and engineering majors, but a philosophy major who comes from a rich family that is well connected probably got his job based on guanxi rather than his degree.joan got a business degree. she was validictorian at his high school. she lives in a city of 60,000, so not a lot of business opportunities there. when he got out of college, she found that his business degree couldnt find her a job. she ended up going back to college to get a degree in nursing because he found that his business degree was useless. she wasted 4yrs of his life getting a business degree because kapitalist society values business, so naturally young people are going to gravitate towards something that is respected, but are we misled into thinking that anyone can get into business, and strike it rich? because that simply isn't true for most people. in fact, most businesses go out of business within a couple of years, but we aren't informed about this. we are only shown the ma yuns, steve bezos, and elon musks. furthermore, business isn't for everyone, and getting a business degree simply isn't practical for most people. joan was lucky enough to be able to get the nursing degree, but what about the ones who arent? someone else could have easily ended up working at the post office after wasting 4yrs pursuing a business degree. one of the mistakes people make is that they dont consider their environment when choosing their future. a business degree can only take you so far in a city that doesnt have a whole lot of business activity. while it's true that danold chrump made millions from business, danold chrump also had a daddy who was a milionare. do you?true story. theres a guy who came from a working class background. raised by a single mother who had him at 19. his dad left him at a young age. no one in his family ever went to college. they all worked for minimum wage including himself. all his life, he was told that he was dumb, and he is. because he was a dumb guy, he was placed in special ed, and was teased by school mates throughout his life for being perceived as stupid. his response was- he didnt want to accept his circumstances, and the more people told him he was dumb, the more he wanted to prove them wrong. he went to college strictly because he wanted to prove to everyone he wasnt stupid, but what he ended up doing may have proven how stupid he was. so he went to one of those colleges (野鸡大学) that didnt have any requirements. all they wanted was money. because he was dumb, it took him longer to graduate, and he did eventually graduate. but he got himself in debt because of the college tuition. today, hes in his 30s and unloading trucks for a shopping center receiving minimum wage. like danold, he also got his job through family. his mother worked at the same shopping center. however unlike danold, he has no health insurance, rents a very small apartment, and lives with his girlfriend (who has other boyfriends). she makes more money than him, and pays a lot of the bills. if he had taken a different route, and not wasted all those years in college, perhaps he might have a better job today. at least he would have some seniority in a bad job, but he doesnt. there are alot of goverment jobs out there with good benefits. many of them will allow you to retire earlier than the private sector. although his grandmother washed clothes for the military for minimum wage, she retired with benefits that you would expect a goverment employee to get. wash clothes for 20yrs, and you will eventually get some kind of reward. but timing is everything. some jobs will only hire people in their 20s, for someone who is 40, it's hard for him to find some of the same opportunities that a 20yr old would. if you dont get into some positions at a certain time, at exactly the right age range, then you wont at all.what we can learn from his experience is that sometimes you have to accept your circumstances. if youre stupid, then youre stupid. just accept it and move on. dont try to prove other people wrong. you have nothing to prove to anyone. instead, you have to do what works for you. you have to work within the parameters. theres no sense in trying to overachieve, just like theres no point in trying to become an actor, or a musician, because the odds are against you. instead, the smartest thing to do is to work with what you have. for example, his grandmother washed clothes for the military. with those circumstances, and conditions, he could have asked his grandmother for an introduction into that occupation. he could very well have retired in is 50s, with benefits, if everything went smooth. but instead, he wasted his time with college. now he has no health care as stated, and his job unloading trucks is not stable, because he can be replaced by anyone. jobs requiring that kind of physical labor will be limited to people of a certain age. in other words, he may not be able to handle that kind of job after his 40s. then what? he has nothing to fall back to.thats just an extreme case, because in most cases, people are generally good at something. some are good at fixing cars, some at cooking, and others good at plumbing.now there are many other people who take different routes, and their lives end up being much more successful. some of them join the military, some go to free vocational schools that actually guarantee a job. theres another guy who dropped out of high school and went to work as a mechanic fixing cars. his dad was an electrician. he worked his way up to the manager of a big auto shop. eventually, he got a job as a mechanic working for the city. he says that he works very little hours, and gets paid alot. he also gets all kinds of benefits. he was also able to afford to buy a house. in western countries, some of these free vocational school grads end up making as much as $90k/yr depending on his skill and its demand. on the other hand, there are college grads with no connections who are making minimum wage.next we have kim. she comes from a bourgeois family. her dad worked at a bank, and her mother worked for the city. she lived a fairly comfortable life. her dad took her fishing, camping, and skiing. she had a talent in art, and won several awards as a teenager. during her senior yr in hs, she was offered a full scholarship to a state school. she turned that down, and decided to go to a "prestigious" private art school which ended up costing 50kpa including room and board. she graduated from the art school, and ended up working as a bar tender, and selling things online (something similar to taobao). because she graduated from this "prestigious art school", she felt she was above many jobs she could have gotten. she got work as a bar tender because it seemed cool to her when she was young, but years went by, and before she knew it, she was in her 30s, and by then, the people that may have considered hiring her 10yrs ago, no longer considered her for work. when you're in your 30s, and all you have on your resume is bar tender, and selling things online, employers are going to be skeptical. you're probably wondering, did she really need to spend 200k to work as a bar tender and sell things online?then we have zu. here we have another man who came from a bourgeois family. it's a fairly common story. his grandparents were reactionary landlords from the mainland who moved to hk. his grandfather owned many expensive properties throughout guangzhou during the republican era. after reaching hk, his grandfather worked as a doctor. his father, educated under british schools, worked for public housing, and his mother was a school administrator. like many hongers, he was raised strict, beaten regularly, and studied hard, but he didn't enjoy studying. he was the type who thought he was very intelligent, even though he wasn't, and wanted to take shortcuts. he didnt believe in hard work. no matter what his parents told him, his heart wasn't into studying, so he started failing in high school. he failed his exams, so he did what many failures from hk did. he headed west. he moved west at 18, and ended up spending another 2 yrs in high school, finally graduating high school at 20 instead of 18 like most students. in high school, he surrounded himself with fobs, and spoke cantonese. although he worshipped westerners and kissed the ground they walked on, he never assimilated. during this time, his english didn't improve much. after high school, he went to college with no aim, or goal. he went for one semester, but after that stopped going. his parents kept giving him money for tuition which he spent on prastitutes, and expensive restraunts. after a few years, his parents caught on, and realized their son wasn't going to school. at this point, zu could have gotten a job, but he was too lazy. he wanted short cuts, and like many hongers, he looked up to the criminal underworld (黑帮), the same kind of crimnal underworld that is glorified in hk movies. he liked crime but wasnt really the criminal type. i mean he had a criminal mindset, but he wasnt fearless like real thugs are, and he couldnt fight. it was around this time that he started smoking just to fit in. he got mixed up with these 古惑仔, and it was here that he learned about fake marriages for money, and citizenship. at the time, fake marriages were going for 50k a pop. this was his dream job. he was even selling identities of real people to illegal immigrants who needed papers to work, but this wasnt a career his parents would accept. eventually, he talked his parents into letting him go back to school, this time at a hotel management training institute. this time he actually finished the program because it was shorter, and easier. the school got him a job at a hotel where he worked nights. it was an easy job, but he felt the job was beneath him, and not very high paying. being from hk, he was very shallow, and materialistic. like most hongers, he wanted to strike it rich, and show off. but he had nothing to show. he was working nights at a hotel making $10 an hour. he was also looked down upon by the gwailo for being asian. it wasn't what he bargained for. for a number of reasons, he decided to go back to hk, where he believed his "western education" would be in high demand because hongers worship the west. he also believed that he would be respected by other hongers for having spent time in the west. he was tired of being a nobody in the west, and believed he could be somebody in hk. he noticed that westerners in hk were offered lucrative positions simply for being western. somehow he believe that would apply to him, but it didnt. while its true that many westerners are given lucrative positions in hk, and are respected, this didnt happen for zu. turns out his expertise wasnt quite as attractive as he had thought. he sent resumes out throughout the city, and got very little response. he would aim for hotels like the oriental mandarin, a huge leap from the indian owned hotel he was working at in the west. it also turned out that hk was much more competitive than the west, but at least he still stood a chance at $10/hr hotel jobs. the only hotel that responded to his application was a 1 star hotel, and he accepted the job because he had no other choice. the peninsula, and four seasons just werent calling him back. after a few months, he thought these jobs were beneath him, just like before. he got into an argument with his boss, and left the job. shortly after he got cancer, and gave up on working. he was told that he had no chance at living, so he ended up spending all his parents savings on prastitutes, 5 star hotels, luxury cars, and first class plane tickets. he hit all the bourgeois spots, singapore, japan, australia, europe, dubai, taewan, even attended the world cup in brazil. he ended up living 8yrs after getting cancer, so he spent the last 8yrs of his life living luxuriously.now we have tom. he comes from a working class background, and a large family with many brothers and sister. ever since he was a teenager, he spent his summers on contruction sites as his father was a construction worker. however, his grandfather was a college graduate. his grandfather wanted him to attend his alma mater, and he did. however, times were different and college was not affordable like it was during his grandfathers era, so he dropped out. he tried going back to public colleges to attend classes for many years after, but that was a complete waste of time for him. like many others he had no goal or aim in college. he only went because he thought that was the thing to do, and maybe his grandfather wanted him to go. his girlfriend at the time was also bourgeois. she was the daughter of a doctor. since his father was a construction worker, and thats what he had experience in, he naturally followed that path. today, he makes close to 70k as a construction worker with no college degree in hand. the only job he has ever had was in construction. for tom, he could have avoided college entirely, and went straight into construction after high school instead of wasting all that time, and money on college. if construction was going to be his career, he might as well have devoted his time and money into learning the details of construction, but i guess nobody has a time machine and cant tell what will happen. maybe tom was originally trying to break away from the construction world, but in the end he stayed.finally we have sahil. his father was a cop back home, but when he emigrated to the west, the only thing he could find was restraunt work. sahil grew up in the slums in poverty. sahil was unsuccessful at school, partly due to the language barrier, and dropped out. he went to work at restraunts just like his father. he later went to work for the post office. this was a decent job. the hours werent long because once he finished his work, he could go to sleep. the benefits were good. and he was good at his job. after working there a few years, he met a woman. she was bourgeois and they began dating. however, his new bourgeois girlfriend began to look down on him for being a high school drop out. she wanted to make him presentable, so she asked him to go back to school. he did that at her request. he had been out of school for a long time by now, so it was going to be difficult. he couldnt quit his job, so he went to school part time. like many others, he had no goal, or plan in mind, other than to get a degree, any degree. so what do you do in a kapitalist country? get a business degree of course. it took him a long time to get this degree given that he was going part time. it was many years, but he finally got it, but once he got out, he found that he couldnt find a job in his field. his age also had something to do with it, because by the time he was done with his degree, he wasnt young anymore. the only thing he had was his original job, which he had seniority now, was good at, and familiar with. unlike the private sector, the post office is somewhere that you can retire from with benefits after a set number of years. it was also around this time that his girlfriend broke up with him. his friends say that the girlfriends parents had something to do with it, as they (bourgeois) looked down upon postmen. long story short, he ended up staying at the post office, and went to college for nothing. he could have spent that time, and money doing other things. he must have spent at least 50k on tuition alone.the lesson we can learn from sahil is dont go to college for the sake of earning a degree. know the job market. explore whether or not your degree can actually lead to a job. dont assume anything. if you want to be an engineer, go get an engineering degree. if you believe you have a shot at getting a job, then get a degree that the job requires. unless you're smart, lucky, or connected, dont get the degree first, and then aimlessly start looking for a job, especially when there are other options. also, consider your age before getting into something like this. if you're going to be in your 30s by the time you get out, then you might want to reconsider.it's a shame that there are still people who encourage people to go to college indiscriminantly. this is a much bigger problem amongst the bourgeoisie, but ive also known bourgeoisie who go to free vocational schools, become private licensed contractors making 6 figures. just because youre bourgeois doesnt mean college is for you.i leave you with this i hear alot of comments, mostly from shils. they claim that alot of people live in areas where islam is popular; muslims have more kids; or people are born into it, but none of these answers the question. first of all, there has to be something attractive about islam in order for people to adhere to it. many of todays so called muslims countries were not always muslim. alot of people associate iran with islam, but they only became muslim recently. turkey is another one. but neither of them have historically been muslim.you even have far away places like indonesia, and china who have not historically been muslim. in fact, islam is one of china's biggest religions. however, if we compare islam to christianity, or judiasm, there are very few christians, or juz. lord knows how badly christians try to push their religion onto people, yet still, they are unable to get very many new followers. in china, christianity has been very unsuccessful. many shils will try to blame that on the "comunist party", but christianity has been trying to push its way into china long before chairman mao was born. yet so many chinese flocked to islam on their own free will. there are muslim neighborhoods, towns, all over china. if im not mistaken, there are even muslim provinces. but you never hear of any christian neighborhoods, towns, or provinces. therefore, one can conclude that islam (what started out as a foreign religoin) is much more popular than christianity, despite christian efforts to push their religion onto others.many shils will claim that muslims forced their religion on people, but why are turks, and persians still muslim now that no one is forcing them? if someone forced me to become christian, i would cease becoming a christian once someone stops forcing me, or takes the threat away. certainly i would not continue being a a christian on my own free will. its been hundreds and thousands of years since the muslims colonized iran, and turkey, yetislam never left despite the colonists leaving. so there must be something attractive about it for them to continue this tradition. you look at unpopular religions like christianity. you see many many europeans who were forced into christianity by their parents, and once their parents stop forcing them, or the kids grow up, they leave christianity, and do not go to church voluntarily. but you do not see this with islam. the kids who were forced to go to mosque as children will continue going to mosque as adults, for the most part. when you look at other unpopular religions such as judiasm, most juz end up becoming athiests, as they are unable to retain their followers. not only that, but you see alot of westerners converting to islam. the fastest growing religion is islam. you hardly hear about any muslims converting to christianity.

Best Leaders

2017-09-08

10. Thabo Mbeki (Former President of South Africa) The one thing you will find in common with this entire list is that they don't bow down to bullying from inperialists. The west was hoping to use Mbeki to destabilize Zimbabwe, but Mbeki resisted, thereby allowing independence, and dem0cracy to flourish.9. Robert Mugabe (President of Zimbabwe) Mugabe has allowed Zimbabwe to be one of the most independent and free countries on the African continent, while most others are in chaos while under the thumb of the west. Trump rules with an america first policy, but Mugabe prefers a Zimbabwe first policy.8. Jacob Zuma (Current President of South Africa) Here's another man who is hated by the west, which should give him street cred right off the bat. He's an independent leader who thinks for himself, and does not give in to pressure, and blackmail easily. He has also taken steps to improve the economic conditions of his country by joining the brics group.7. Muammar Al-Gaddafi (RIP) The man who held Libya together for over 30 yrs. He's been around since the Mao era, and was brutally murdered by western backed terorists. He was known as an opponent of inperialism, limiting inperialist activities in Libya, while supporting independence abroad. At the same time, he governed with socialist principles and provided housing, food, and gave goverment subsidies to those who needed it.6. Julius Malema (South Africa’s Youth Leader) He is a friend of the people. Born in 81, he is one of the younger leaders on the list, but has already made a good impression on his consitituents. He nationalized south African mines, and like Colonel Gadafi, he also redistributed land to people who needed it. Despite attacks from the western corporate media, and their proxies, Mr. Malema continues to do what is right.5. Islam Karimov (President of Uzbekistan) Like many other great leaders, Mr. Karimov came from a humble background, and was trained as an engineer. He worked his way up the ranks in the Uzbek State Planning Committeee during the USSR era. He enjoyed great popularity amongst his people in Uzebekistan from the Soviet era until his death, while hated by western inperialist oligarks.4. Bashar al-Assad (President of Syria) Asad is immensely popular in Syria. Perhaps that is one of the reasons why he survived a western led attack on his country. Initially trained as an eye doctor, he is a man who is practical. He comes from a political family, and despite having a british born wife, he doesn't take dictation from the west, and seeks out allies throughout the world. One of the reasons why he is popular is because of his dem0cratic practices. It was in Asad's Syria that christians, Sunis, and Shiites all got along, and worked alongside one another. He has given several press interviews where he shows his audience that he is someone who seeks justice, and peace.3. Omar al-Bashir (Sudanese President) Bashir has been around for a long time, and is known for doing the right thing. From the very begining, he was independent and wasn't trying to be a stooge of inperialism. He had a reputation for supporting the freedom and dem0cratic struggles. For this, the west couldn;t stand him. In fact, he had half his country (the oil rich part) taken from him by the west precisely for doing the right thing. The west had been plotting against him for decades. Bashir has a long track record of serving the people. Like Gadafi, Bashir was a military man. Some of his more popular moves include fighting against Israel in the Yom Kipur war. Like many other popular leaders including Gadafi, and Mao, Mr. al-Bashir believed in solidarity, and he was a proponent of Pan-Arabism. Bashir is also a proponent of the African space agency, believing that if Africa was to be independent it should develop its own space program and liberate Africa from technnological domination by the west. In many ways, Mr. Bashir shares similar visions to China, because it was not to long ago when China had the same dreams.2. Thaksin Shinawatra (Former Prime Minister of Thailand) Thaksin started out as a cop, and ventured into business. He then became a politician and enjoyed a great deal of popularity. He seemed like a guy who tried to cooperate with the west, but that just wasnt enough, as the west seeks total domination. His semi independent policies would eventually land him in hot water with the west who ousted him, showing the amount of influence the west has in Thailand. Despite his falling out with the west, and the accusations made against hm by the west, Thaksin still enjoys a great deal of popularity, where his movement still lives on as Thaksin lives in exile.1. Kim Jong – un Needs no introductionThe man holding up the free world. A man ahead of his time, leading the most progresive movement in the world while only in his 30s. He resists pressure from the strongest bullies in the world. He continues the independent tradition of his father, and grandfather.

Airbnb took a very big bet against anonymity, and is one of the most, if not the most intrusive hotel booking websites. Going further than any significant consumer tech company has before, the peer-to-peer travel accommodation site, valued at $2.5 billion, wants to combine users’ online and offline identities with a process that includes checking official photo IDs. They collect your data, and share it with inteligence agencies, while claiming it would better foster a service where users are on their best behavior and feel comfortable trusting each other to stay in their homes, Airbnb doesn't mind offending privacy defenders and the loss of users that comes from the friction of a more complicated registration process. Maybe the ClA will reimburse Airbnb. But the question I have to ask is, wouldn't it also foster a service where users are on their best behavior and feel comfortable trusting each other to stay in their homes if the landlord, rather than Airbnb collect your ID? “We are drawing a line here and saying we don’t stand for anonymous experiences,” Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky said in an interview last week at the company’s San Francisco headquarters. “We don’t think you can be trusted in a place where you’re anonymous.” But wait, hotels.com, Orbitz, and Travelocity, some of the biggeset sites out there allow anonymous bookings. So why do they trust guests, while Airbnb doesn't? The big booking sites in China also do not ask for ID. A totalitarien Airbnb process will require users to show that they are a real established online person (through a history of participation and an active existing network on Linkedin or Facebook, or three positive reviews from previous Airbnb stays) and a real established offline person (by scanning their photo ID with the Airbnb mobile app or providing personal details as they would with a credit check). To be verified by Airbnb, users must connect those online and offline records under the same name. Years ago, 25 percent of Airbnb’s U.S. users were told they have to do this before they can further participate. Any other user can opt into the process, and hosts will be able to say they only rent to verified users. Today, all Airbnb users must be verified in order to book rooms. For context, Chesky drew historical excuses to sites like eBay — where users establish a reputation with a pattern of positive transactions — and Facebook — where users are expected to participate using their real names. But he claimed that those virtual identities are brittle, because people with tarnished reputations can just delete their old account and start new ones. Attaching their offline identity would make it a lot harder to do that. “I’m not saying the whole world will work this way,” Chesky explained, “but with Airbnb, people are sleeping in other people’s homes and other people’s beds. So there’s a level of trust necessary to participate that’s different from an eBay or Facebook.”Once again, why is Airbnb collecting the ID? Why not let the landlord directly collect the ID? When you check into a traditional hotel, it's the hotel front desk who collects the ID. That would seem to make more sense.More excusesAirbnb uses an example where an Airbnb host saw her apartment trashed, the company seized the opportunity to introduce draconian rules and regulations. On the surface, they claimed to introduce commitments to trust and safety, including better customer services and claims to guarantee to cover $1 million in property damage. This is the biggest move in that direction. Underneath that deception lies something more sinister. They want to know who you are an your pattern of life matrices. As Chesky describes it, Airbnb’s verified accounts will be a larger step forward for the networked world. This is a "necessity" for the shared economy, he said. So, while today verified accounts may improve trust between Airbnb users, tomorrow they might be a sort of passport between the online and offline world for other services, as well. What's most disturbing is the security risk that comes with allowing websites like Airbnb operate in China. They can collect ID, and passports of Chinese nationals, and no one really knows what Airbnb does with the information. What would the western corporate media say if a Chinese website was collecting ID's on westerners?
