Plum blossom

Two months ago, my friend gave me several plum branches. She picked it on the ground when gardeners trimmed the plum trees. She asked me to fill a bottle with some water and put the branches in the bottle. After several days, there would be flowers.
I put the branches on the balcony and forgot the thing. Several weeks later, she posted a photo of the plum flowers. They were really beatiful! It reminded me of my plum branches. I found them and put them in a bottle. Then I put it in the warm room. One week has past. Nothing had changed. I was a little disppointed. Maybe it won't blossom. When I was about to give up, I found that a branch turned green. It was a sign of growth, so I decided to wait. Several days later, several buds grew. On the day of the Start of Spring, pink flowers came out.
The flowers are beautiful, but the process of growth is long. We need to have the patience to see the blossom and it is a good way of slowing down the pace of life!
