A day without internet
2016-08-05

One Sunday I tried a new life style. I didn’t use internet, and even didn’t watch TV. I thought I would be very bored. However, I have a very effective day. I wrote several articles in the morning. During the past months, I always wanted to write one, but I didn’t have time to do it. When I was isolated from internet and TV, I could be devoted to writing.

I once read a writer’s article, in which its said that every morning she spends two hours on writing, with the net line plugged out. At that time I thought she was too strict, but after I tried the method myself, I was convinced. Also, without the attraction of internet news and TV series, at night I fell asleep in a short time.

But the next morning, I couldn’t wait to turn on my smart phone and connected to the net to check new messages. After all, we are always afraid of being lonely.

Solutions can come from the other end but that always seems to be a lot messier. So it is best for elites to try to make things better instead of worse. Society is not particularly stable right now in my opinion. Look at USA. They will be in trouble with Clinton or Trump as leader. Western political systems are breaking down and governments no longer really have the consent of the western majority. Solutions will come from somewhere at some stage. It is best if they come from the top.

But then - I do not think that the groups that are in positions to take solutions and use them are strongly united - so there can always be hope for positive change for the world I guess. It is hard to write anything serious for this world though dont you think? It is all a big joke anyway.

I think the problem is that the people that are in a position to actually take solutions and use them are not looking for solutions because it is the worlds problems that make the spice flow for them. So there isnt a lot of point writing anything other than nonsense really.

And I guess feedback can be valuable sometimes but the point of propaganda should be to modify the thinking of others - not your own.

Thank you very much for your comment!
I think that you should write down your good ideas because it's a good way to make your thoughts clear and it will lead to more good ieas. what's more, others see the article may discuss with you, then you can modify your article to make it better.
Internet is an important tool for us to get information. However, when I begin to write something, I usually firstly write the outlines on paper, then modify and finish it on computer. When I wrote by computer, I was easily distracted by other things.

I would like to write good things but I find myself wondering if the world deserves it and what I am getting out of it. I wrote a good article recently titled Full Spectrum Global Security and I have part 2 planned in my head plus many other good articles but I find myself writing nonsense instead. I have a lot for good ideas for future policing.

When I write stuff I like to have the internet to check/reference things and I also prefer to use a keyboard to a pen. I like to use the interent to check the news too. For me the internet is kind of like my version of Odins ravens and it is how I get a lot of information. And one day I hope to receive a message that makes the things that I write worth something to me. I do not think that I am afraid of being lonely.

I had to work al last week so I didnt get to check the news or anything very much and I guess it was kind of nice.
