Can girls take the initiative to chase boys
2014-07-24
There is a Chinese saying goes, male chase female like climbing a huge mountain, whereas female chase male like eating a piece of cake. Apparently, not all Chinese sayings are totally right. It's much hard for a girl to go after a boy.
Once upon a time, we classmates hung out together. Our monitor asked a question, if you like some guy, will you chase him actively? Most girls shook their heads, you know what does this action mean in China. I was amazed that only one girl shouted out that she would try her best to say it out. That girl was me. It seemed that I was an idiot. I was not so conserved as all girls have in their eyes. What's wrong with all girls? Or should I say what happened to me?
Come on, girls. What if you encounter a boy who is so attractive? Are you willing to be shackled by the traditional concepts, and be confined in your own well? Only because your gender is female. What a rudiculous thing it is! We are the new-era girls now.
You know, most girls are considerate to boys who are crazy on them, even though they do not like, or loathe them. (at least I am that kind of girl). Because girls are more sensitive. To this point, many boys finally make it through great efforts. However, if a girl decides to pursue a boy, not only does she suffer a lot from the surroundings, also she should make a good preparation to face a rational guy.
I always hold that I do whatever I like. Who cares the gender?
What's your opinion? Please feel free to share yours.

This is a picture from the movie called Flipped, it tells a story about a little girl chasing a boy. You should have a look. It is gorgeous!

It is a change that most females want but not able to do so. You are courageous to face it yourself but not alone. Just that your similar counterparts are not nearby you. One distinctive aspect is that you gave your opinion loud and clear, while your classmates surpressed theirs. Perhaps, even the males did. It was not something that your western sisters were bequeathed upon since birth. They struggled for equality. Finally, they reached and received it with pride.
