The Moon in Ear Lake

The lake was naturally formed in Ice Age.

It got its name because the shape looks like an ear.

It is surrounded by Yu’an mountain, which single out its wonderful view. 

Diancang mountain stands in horizontal row and looks like a screen.

A tale says that a princess in heaven came down to a fishing village.

She fallen in love with a fisherman and married him.

The ruthless father king forcefully brought her back to heaven.

In order to protect the fishing industry, she sank a precious mirror into the lake. 

The mirror became a moon in the lake shining golden lights. 

It gradually formed a spectacular view of the moon in Ear lake.

冰河时代自然成，湖形似耳而获名。

玉案山环绕衬托，点苍山横列如屏。

天宫公主下渔村，堕入爱河嫁渔民。

无情父王强带回，为佑渔业沉宝镜。

水中月亮闪金光，终成洱海月奇景。
