Believe it or not, being allied with Japan is worse than having an albatross tied across one's neck, ten times worse than contracting the plague . . . and if any country tries to defend the aggressor . . . how can it ever think of escaping the wrath of the Khan???

In case Australians have forgotten how to do some basic mental arithmetic, it should be obvious to any child that an Australia that intends to attack China would face a hundred times the destruction and experience a hundred times the risk such a response from a China, that at present, has zero plans for huriting Australia in any way, and zero chance of doing so.

Now, how much must Australians be paid for to accept such an astronomic escalation of danger, that is entirely of its own will and doing?  Let us start with about five trillion dollars at the minimum.

It is unfortunate, isn't it, that China really owns all the islands it had long identified with the 11-dash line drawn not by "expansionist Red China" but by "weakling Nationalist China" in 1947?  Just because China has gotten strong does not make it any more expansionist in 2014 than the weak Nationalist China in 1947, does it?  But the strength of China in 2014, and its ability to protect its sovereign territory from foreign occupation, does breed fear in the hearts of its expansionist neighbors, like Japan, Vietnam and lately, the Philippines.  For Australia to join Japan in going to war with China is not unexpected, considering that the occupation of Australia by the British privateers, requires as its next step of consolidation, their attack on China as British pivoteers.

At any rate, there is nothing glorious about war.  Australia should not have dreams of grandeur in this dismal undertaking, because it brings nothing but destruction and despair.  All for what?
