Thanks for the little lesson on a part of Chinese and Buddhist history and tradition.  I always like to know why certain foods are served on certain days and usually I never can find much of a reason for the "why"?  In this case I have never heard of Laba but now I have.

I never heard of the Laba Festival until I read this post. Thanks for teaching me some Chinese culture!!
