“Child” who can never “grow up”

Although he is short, he pays much attention to his appearance,so he always looks cool. He is a typical “little man”, a group of peoplesuffering from GHD (growth hormone deficiency). The most typical feature ofthem is short and child-like faces. There are more than 5 million peoplesuffering from this syndrome now in China.

People suffering from GHD always attract other’s eyes and face other’s curiosity and sometimes distain. It is their dream to live like an ordinary people.

Puyang lives in a village located in suburb of Beijing. It has no difference from those under developed cities in China. The streets sides are occupied by various shops and vendors, and people dump garbage on the road.
