As we remember those who have given their lives for their country, a new book by the musician and photographer Bryan Adams honours those who have suffered life changing injuries in the line of duty.
Wounded: The Legacy of War is a collection of haunting images of soldiers who have cheated death while serving their country in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The intimate portraits pay testament to the sacrifice of British soldiers, taking an unflinching look at the scars, disabilities and disfigurements they have suffered in the line of fire.

Wounded: Marine Joe Townsend lost both his legs in Afghanistan. He was just 19 when he stepped on an improvised explosive device

But at least the USA has cheap oil so its obscenely rich families that own the USA can get even richer.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

Disrespectful as always Robbo

War is never good but you should be thanking those who lost their lives in order to give you the chance to spout your rubbish on CD.

There is no such thing as a good war but we should honour all those who lost their lives for our freedom.
