To me the key to managing stress is to know yourself and practice exercises that help to relax your body and mind.

1.  Listen to your body and practice breathing exercises to manage the stress
      When you feel tension or pressure search your body's messages
      Do you feel tension in your shoulders - take a deep breath breath it out feel the tenision evaporate
      Still tense - try roll your shoulders in a forward lifting then backward and lowering motion
      Search your body again where else do you feel tension

2   Diet and Rest
      Do you get enough sleep and eat a balanced diet
      Your body need sleep and nourishment to manage stress effectively,
      Ever noticed you are more emotional when you are tired or over tired.
      Proper sleep will help you manage the stress when under pressure.  

3   Exercise and Relaxation
     Again a good exercise routine will tone your muscles and help your body  release and manage stress

4   Humor -  A good laugh will help relieve stress.

5   Know yourself what situations cause you the most stress, when do you feel the most relaxed.
     Are you able to change the situation to make it less stressful.
     Perform the simple breathing exercises that  fill your lungs with air and release it slowly
     Find out what exercises work for you, practice tensing your muscles and concentrating on the feeling.
     While doing that perform the breating exercisenotice the tension reducing,
     Over time you will discover what works for you and refine it so that it works better.

Managing the stress will clear your mind, relax your muscles and allow you to think and perform better.
Attitude : Life is 10 percent what happens to you,  and 90 percent how you react to it.
