I believe one must understand that the whites are okay with this policy: if they were not, most of them would vote for third parties, bringing forth a completely new government system.  But 95% of whites voted for either Democrats or Republicans, indicating that they are happy with this and all other policies.  As such, it would be illogical to show sympathy when they actually like this policy.

A good chance for the whites to have shown they did not support the political status quo would have been in the last election where they actually had the perfect chance to vote for the only candidate that would have completely altered the entire government system: Ron Paul.  But he only got 3% of the Republican primary vote, indicating that 97% of Republicans were happy with mainstream American politics.  

So, there is no need to feel sympathy for Western whites since they are happy with the system.  Instead, just work on improving China.
