i knowho i am no need for people to labellin me like that

no doubt!

They come up with derogatory names because they hate white americans and they think they need to 'teach us a lesson on manners'.

They forget that we're not all white americans.

Its not fair to paint all americans with the same brush.

And yes I'm saying AMERICAN.

Hey seneca, I lost your email. send me a message, don't post it openly.

Will post you a copy, the ...

Two peas in a pod - you and seneca.

Both live in countries where you think you are better than everyone else and need to 'teach us' something.

You are a disgrace.  Both of you.

Never have learned manners yourself.

Just another hater.

Take your 'usanian' and shove it.

I cant see what all the fuss is about USAnian. I dont know any white Brit who gives a stuff what people around the world call them.

Of course, if we call any other race names they go hysterical about it.

Hey, windbag, there must have had been a lot of immigrants from Wales who settled in Pennsylvania. It is historically a very interesting state. If u get the chance to visit, drive around in Pennsylvania.

I find a lot of Welsh[1] names here e.g. Brin Mawr, Bala Cynwyd etc. Oddly enough many USAnians do not now the origin of these names.

I am waiting for one of those un-pronounce-able Welsh name to hit me.

Thing about Welsh and Celtic, they are not phonetic e.g. Siobhan ( pronounced She-Vonn ).

Footnote
[1] Wales is one of the three kingdoms in the United Kingdom
[2] Cynwyd is pronounced Kin-Wit, like the Celts, they have a hard "C" ( ancient latin likewise ).
Let the dice fly high

I don't mind all the usual stuff.  Hell, you can even call us assholes and I wouldn't get upset.

But the term 'usanian' sticks in my crawl.  Its the premise behind it.

If there is anything that pushes my buttons its condescending, patronizing type attitudes.  And that is what this term is all about.

Its to 'correct' us.  Because we're wrong, wrong, wrong - arrogant and selfish to call ourselves americans.

I'd rather be called a bitch than an 'usanian'.  Just can't stand people like that.

Especially when its them that are so wrong.  We don't use that term because we think we're better than all the other countries in north or south america.

We're called 'american' because it's in our name and our country name doesn't lend itself well to other versions.

No one gets confused when they here the word 'american' and certainly people from other countries in the americas do not want to be confused for us.

They don't want to be called american.   It has a bad reputation.
