Unbalancing fertility that caused by long standing One Child Policy

It's not that unbalanced. China's fertility rate is still slightly higher than that of most western countries - so while there certainly is a problem, China is not exceptionally prone compared to other nations.

What I see much more problematic is the current urbanization policy. Young people are drained to the cities, while their parents and grandparents usually stay behind with no one to take care of them. China should return to confucianism in that regard and remember the princple of "keeping the family in order means keeing the kingdom in order".

How are you planing on taking care of your parents when they are old?
