Former NBA star Yao Ming is calling for abandoning of China's system which trains this country's athletes.

Yao Ming is now in Beijing to attend the annual CPPCC sessions.

He contends sports should be part of the national education system.

"I hope sports will be put back into the context of a comprehensive education system where it ought to belong, and should become an important part."

For decades, China's professional athletes have been trained in almost sports-only institutes starting from an early age.

As such, many of them find it difficult to find work once retire from their sports career.

Yao Ming is planning to bring this up in an official proposal to the CPPCC session.

Who cares if those athletes have jobs once they are finished competing?! When they can no longer provide glory for the CPC by competing they are useless so their organs should be harvested. Each young Chinese athlete should have two hearts for their circulatory system, so they can easily win more gold for the CPC's glory!

Why does he need a name tag?

That represents he is a CPPCC member.
