The whole world is interested in this news.

So, you mean, China does not mind the rest of the world ?

It does not care why all the world is that much interested in it ?

I tell you, it actually cares too much -

and that is the sole reason why it keeps its population in the dark !
It is indeed very practical that the party is  judge, legislator, head of the army, executor  and  publisher  all in one in China.

If those thousands of different Chinese media were "independent" at least some would have done a coverage.

Since not a single media did any report, it is most likely that they surrender to a comprehensive government directive.

What a shame, China !

The Philippines are better of in that aspect.

Why is there never media coverage of changes in Andorra or San Marino?

I guess the reason is the importance of the message, the same as changes in the Vatican.

With messages it is as with everything in life. It's all a matter of perception. What is important for 'A' is often negligible for 'B' or, to phrase it with Stalin, how many battalions does the pope have?

Satsu,

I do not know if you agree with me on this:

Not a small minority of the Chinese population would have a profound interest in being informed about the Vatican and the pope and for example, his resignation.

Unfortunately the Chinese media gives a   S h i t  on what the people want to know.

since the CPC ultimatively decides what the Chinese people need to know and what not.
It is indeed very practical that the party is  judge, legislator, head of the army, executor  and  publisher  all in one in China.
