You know what? Patience and acceptance! That's the way of life in every country. China or outside. Understanding? That's hard. We don't understand our home towns many time, so we leave there and find another place thinking it's better and then we do not understand that either and criticise. Basically it's not about understanding but about conceiving, knowing and living with the differences, among cultures, people and everything. We understand things but we do not accept them.

He has a Chinese wife he met through the internet and has visited China 7 times on business and to do the documents to take his wife to the USA.  He tells everyone that he plans to retire in China someday.  Therefore, he considers himself an expert on China.
