Well, to me it seems more some people have difficulties with the use of million, billion, trillion or the proper use of commas. Whatever, the published figures are impossible.

Another example: 1,5 trillion is almost double the GDP figure of Indonesia in 2011 and Indonesia is one of Asia's top GDP performer.

Hmm, please reflect on the figures which you've published and then tell us whether you believe it. ...

The source is from today's news reports.

18% of China's GDP is really  a big number. Maybe it is not right?
Let me do a search:
Oh, many netizens are talking about this ratio in forums.

another source:
Illegal capital flight: 3,800 us dollar from 2003 to 2012
capital flight: 472 billion us dollar in 2011

Illegal capital flight: 8000 yuan (1,300 us dollars) from 1995 to 2010
16,000~18,000 high-level in gov and state-owned companies fled away from China from 1995 to 2010
source: China's Central Bank, original source: Academy of China's social science.

But the data were dnied by China's commnist party discipline committee later.

I come back to the 1 or even 1,5 trillion $$. Let's look at it from a different angle:

1 trillion USD (1,000,000,000,000) in 100 USD bills does weigh approx. 1,020,400 tons. The amount would form a line which is more than from planet earth to the sun over 156,089,240 km.

or....

If you cashed a trillion dollars at your local bank, and they gave it to you in one hundred dollar bills you could give it to your grandchild at the time of his birth. If you told him to spend $100 every second, he would be 317 years old when he ran out of money!

You can easily see that money is heavy. Btw, just 1 million dollar in 100 $ notes needs a middle sized suitcase to carry (almost exactly 10 kgs).  Now, how can people bring such amounts out of the country? {:soso_e120:}  It must be a joint effort of all transport companies the world over and then some.

Btw, thanks for the links
