I find the initial comments a little harsh towards English speaking people, we are not all bad , I admit  we are lazy when it comes to languages  but if if the history of China and the UK had  been reversed  we would probably be all speaking Mandarin now . Eating cheese and a glass of red wine does not lift you up a class , well , not where I live ( come from a small town near to Newcastle and I agree the dialect  when spoken broadly can be confused as  a foreign language but my Chinese  daughter ' I prefer to call her that '  understands me well enough {:soso_e100:} ). I do hear  that Mandarin is  to be  brought into some of  our primary schools now  which I think is  a great idea but please do not be put off learning English as communication is so important  . If there are any grammar  mistakes  then I apologise, oh! by the way, I like qq as well. Thank you.
