What does international law say about who of the islands?

According to Cairo and Potsdam, it belongs to China~~

I have a feeling though that the bush lawyers in here will claim a special case. International law only applies when it is in the interests of Imperialism.

Cairo and Potsdam declarations were the international agreements ratified by the victorious powers of World War Two. International law doesn't get much higher than that bub.

Doesn't Taiwan have a claim on the islands which is, essentially, seperate from Beijings?

What are you talking?

China is one of the 5 original founders of UN and main participants of WW2. ...

Again, you are wrong, Taiwan is one of the originals. China didn't even have a UNSC seat until when??????

And, another point as an occurence to me, if China had effective control of the islands then there'd be no problems would there?
Food for thought perhaps.

Either way, I could care less as it's not my part of the world.
