Actually, he is correct in this about the propellers. Sub props are top secret and focus on noise reduction as well as cavitational problems. If you look at the launch pics of any modern submarine, the props are shrouded for secrecy.

is it really TRUE that SONAR detector can detect SOUNDS from across the globe.
That's really a lot of SOUND to check on.

It's like the INTERNET traffic, trillions of bits daily.......

how'd you check on all.
You could do TEMPLATES, for a lot of citizens but HOW'D you do that for all except CURSORY surveillance, like phone call made, location every hour or so......DATA STORAGE space is not cheap, and there is 8000 over hours in a year....

Somehow.....

Not really GD. Sonars are limited by temperatures, salinity and distance as well as underlying accoustics. While it's ytue that they can differentiate between countless sounds in a large area, they're not global yet and as far as I am aware, there is no reliable underwarter datalink between passive SOSUS and SSN/SSBN sonars as yet but I'd be willing to be that they're working on it!

Better watch carefully the REAL GAME, instead of non stop ANTI CHINA rhetorics.
The world of RIVALRY-COLLABORATION is a very fickle world.

I reckon, though - it's all in a day's work for you, isn't it.

Commander Baby!

How'd do they detect, ACTUAL POSITION of the submarine with SONAR?
i DOUBT they can do TRIANGULATION, so many nooks and crannies in the ocean bottom.
In shallow water, maybe you can spot some anomalies, but in deep seas........

....it's pretty difficult.

(Just like in INTERNET, trillions of BITS, if you are SELECTIVE FOCUSING, it's can be done - but RANDOM CHECKS, heck, very difficult)
