THESE CONTRACT CANCELLATIONS THAT COST MYANMAR BILLIONS OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENTS  FROM CHINA  ...

Hahaha,

before they were not corrupt ?

Only now, that China was kicked out ?

It is indeed very practical that the party is  judge, legislator, head of the army, executor  and  publisher  all in one in China.

THE PROBLEM OF PRESENT DAY MYANMAR IS THAT PART OF ITS LEADERSHIP HAS BEEN BOUGHT BY FOREIGN POWERS TO DO ONE AND ONLY ONE THING . . . BOOT OUT CHINA FROM MYANMAR.

THESE DEMONSTRATIONS WERE RIGGED BY TRAITORS, NOT BY PATRIOTS LIKE SUKYII.

IT TURNS OUT SUKYII IS THE PATRIOT AFTER ALL.  SHE DID NOT WANT MYANMAR TO LOSE ITS FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENTS FROM CHINA IN THE NAME OF BUT WITHOUT ANY BENEFIT TO THE PEOPLE OF MYANMAR.

Are there any Nobel prizes in this area  ............   ?

If there are then certainly 'watch your back' and most carefully at that  .............

As my learned friend, 29041205 has already asked rhetorically, Burma did not discover its bribabil ...

China never bribes any other country.  To any official tasked with such a job, the buck always ends in his own pocket.  So, rest 100% assured it can never happen.

SUU KYI IS GROWING WISE TO TWO KINDS OF FREEDOM -- FREEDOM TO TALK AND THE FREEDOM OF HAVING A LIVELIHOOD -- BOTH ARE IMPORTANT, AND SOMETIMES, THE RIGHT TO LIVE IS MORE URGENT AND IMPORTANT.

Suu Kyi is getting more mature in her perspective about the politics of freedom.  Even freedom fighters can be made use of by their enemies to fight for causes inimical to their economic interests.  Finally, there is the appreciation of the need for a balance between the right to speak and the right to a livelihood.  China has long been a champion of the right to survival for its people, first and foremost, while its enemies wanted to champion their rights to speak at the expense of their defense and survival.  They are both human rights, but their balancing requires skill, concentration, and the right environmental conditions.  One-sided demands are often self-injurious while a balanced consideration of both sides of every question is more often beneficial to the protesters.  She is getting a taste of trying to negotiate with "freedom fanatics" paid by foreign powers, who could not be happier if Myanmar were to devolve into anarchy and economic chaos.

Let's just hope the Japanese and Vietnamese and the Burmese test China's resolve and strength.

You're joking right? You actually want a conflict? Are you a can short of the proverbial six pack?
Only those who've never been to war seem to be the ones who want another one, with the exception of some rational individuals.
