In 1988, China's Central committee of Communist Party vowed to open the assets and salaries of high-ranking officials.
In 1994, China's congress made a plan to legislate the disclosure of assets and salaries of high-ranking officials.

However, 24 years past, the law hasn't finished yet.

Why?
Who has voted against the disclosure during the past 2 decades, and will vote against in future?

In Canada you can see ours on the web.
Not the best paying job around. Most of our Politicians are we ...

The list does not give you any idea of the family wealth of these people before and after they were in office.

It reminds me of the Thai minister in the 90s who tried to account for his purchase of a mansion in California costing over 1.5 million dollars. He said that he borrowed the money and was going to pay it back out of his 25,000 dollar a year salary.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge of association with a criminal gang engaged in drug trafficking.
The world needs more idiots like me, all the others think they are clever.

In Jan 23, 2013, Guangzhou mayor announced that he would open his assets and salaries to the public if he received the opening rule published by Central gov (Central committee of the Party).

It's a first time for a large city mayor to stand up for supporting the openning assets and salaries of high-level officials to the public.

City mayor is the number 2 leader in local Party committee.

The answer to your question is obvious.
Those voted "No!" must be those who have amassed the most ca ...

Yesterday, a Guangzhou congress member voted agaist "the opening" in the present Congress meetings in Guangzhou, Guangdong province.
His statements: "I suggest that officials should open the assets and salaries to the Party, not to the public. It isn't fair and justice to open to the public. We need to keep alert of Nationalists hanging the flag of "People's Will"."
The congress member also said, "Any law to instruct the officials to open the assets? Do any law published by China's National Congress. China's party and gov officials are also human beings. Human beings should have privacy. Officials are servants, not slaves, of Ordinary Chinese."

The Congress member, Ye Pengzhi, is also the boss of Galuminium Group Co.,Ltd (GAL). Our gov officials used to appoint bosses, social elites, and billionaire like gov officials themselves as Congress members.

In China's constitution, the ruling class is workers and peasants. So, the gov used to call the bosses, social elites (film and sports stars), billionaire, gov officials by the presentatives of Workers and Peasants in Congress.

The slaves are their (the oficial's) subjects, indeed.

The question is,
why do you keep bothering and questioning your leaders as if you had the right to do so?
Why do you even think you had any rights to do so, or any right at all?
