Daioyu is Chinese territory.
There is nothing to compromise with the Japs.
Keep on the ...

Latest reports from South Korea indicate that Japan was trying to hang on to VP Jia Qinglin's words that Japan should acknowledge there is a dispute regarding the sovereignty over Diaoyudao, and therefore, using his influence or name, pressure the rest of the Chinese politburo to accept such an acknowledgement as satisfaction for China's claim of sovereignty, and allow Japan to continue to exercise effective jurisdiction over Diaoyudao.

In short, China should be happy that its dsipute is acknowledged, even if its sovereignty is not recognized, and get on with it.  Focus on making every fat cat richer, it is glorious.  This has now become the spearhead of the pro-Japanese propaganda offensive working its way into China's state and private media, as we speak.  As in all Japanese victories, what it wins in public has almost always been ceded beforehand in private.

To take such an insincere offer of negotiations as a foundation for China's policy toward Diaoyu is high treason.  It is the equivalent of accepting a Trojan horse from the Greeks, while knowing it will lead to the loss of Troy.  In the Iliad, the Trojans were unaware, but in modern China, this is being promoted in broad daylight, which shows how desperate the Japanese plants are at this moment.  Their jobs are about to be canceled by their Japanese bosses if they do not go all out to save Senkaku to remain under the Japanese flag.  What difference is this from the Beiyang government in Peking of 1919 which agreed in private to cede part of Shandong to Japan as an extraterritorial concession without the consent of the people of China?  That was the cause of the May Fourth Movement.   Hu Jintao should step in and not allow this to be his legacy to all future generations of Chinese.  He is still the head of the government and the party, and he can do it.

WTF are you talking about? So, whenever Japan plays nice it's a trick whenever Japan does something you don't like you're allowed to break Japanese things and Japanese officies and Japanese companies. You should get your head examined abramicus.

Also, please don't use Greek mythology for your propaganda bullshit, use something else. There are a lot of mythologies in the world, but leave my country's mythology out of this.

我的最爱钓鱼滩!

Chinese patriots and fishermen should just crash their boats onto Diaoyudao, and plant their national flag on the island.  No boat to return back on.  That's it!

Sadly, on October 4, 2012, one such patriot, according to the newspapers, by name of Guo Chuan 郭川, braved the waves and tried to land on Diaoyutai, but was stopped by six Japanese coast guard vessels which bumped his boat all over the place.

And, no Chinese marine surveillance or coast guard vessel came to his aid.  They say they were there in order to protect the sovereign rights of the Chinese people.  But they did not protect him at all, while he was peacefully exercising his right as a Chinese to sail around and land on Diayudao.  This must be fully investigated.
