Your forgot to mention the iPhone.

For the most part I agree but trying to type on a touchscreen just isn't the same.
How are you supposed to tell the time without a watch? Pull out your cell phone? Seems the watch is still more convenient.
Ever see the old comic strip "Dick Tracy"? He had a watch that was a phone and a TV. Maybe the watch will evolve and
take the place of the cell phone.
And the camera. For snapshots a phone is fine but for really good photographs they are still terrible.
Try adjusting the depth of field with a 4mm lens. Ansel Adams worked with large view cameras which are still much
better than even the best 35mm digital cameras. Just a HUGE pain in the ass to use. That's why his subjects didn't
move much. For the photo enthusist the digital camera will be around for a long time.
