Whom Cuba should learn from, China or Vietnam? [Copy link] 中文

Cuban leader Raul Castro will visit Vietnam this week after his Chinese journey last week. It's clear the Island is trying to find a feasible model to learn in the post-Castro time.
Comparing the population, nation size, political system, social status, Vietnam would be a better example to follow, however, the current problems in Vietnam such as two-digital inflation, currency depreciation and so on seem stem Cuba's passion.  

As for China, it's hard for small Cuba to learn considering the above factors.

I'd rather see Vietnam and China, specially take a few leafs out of cuba's books.

I believe Cuba is self sufficient and it doesn't need to learn from China or any other country. They can learn from the mistakes of China. Cuba has the best doctors in the world. Cuba has free education that’s why a lot of people go there to study. I admire Cuba and my respect to the Cubans people

Cuba can learn from both. i am sure there are good things about both sides. i particularly liked how the Viets fought off the americans
