On 7th May 1999 during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia (Operation Allied Force), five US JDAM bombs hit the People's Republic of China embassy in Belgrade, killing three Chinese reporters.
President Bill Clinton later apologized for the bombing, stating it was accidental. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) director George Tenet testified before a congressional committee that the bombing was the only one in the campaign organized and directed by his agency.
The USA and Britain contend that the embassy bombing was the result of intelligence sources having used an old and unreliable map. The Observer systematically demolishes this claim. It cites the response the following day of an American colonel to criticisms by French and Canadian personnel of the supposed mistake. “Bull----,” said the colonel. “That was great targeting ... we put two JDAMs down into the attaché's office and took out the exact room we wanted ... they [the Chinese] won't be using that place for rebro [re-broadcasting Yugoslav radio transmissions] any more, and it will have given that bastard Arkan a headache.”
The Chinese government maintains that the bombing was a deliberate act and has always regarded the entire Kosovo operation as an illegal war by NATO.

I dont know if it was deliberate
do know Tenet is stupid and showed no remorse even joking about the Belgrade incident.
With May 7 coming up the embassy staff should give a reminder to Nato.
Clinton should have sacked him and sent him off to Alaska to count fish.
For any Tenet supporters reading this and for any americans just think your CIA man might have got away with the Belgrade bombing however by keeping him as CIA director who is going to take responsibility for 9 september 2011?

Who the hell cares what the Chinese gov't thinks of the Kosovo intervention. We never see Chinese troops on the ground stopping genocide. Time for the Chinese gov't, as a permanent member of the UNSC, to put up or shut up methinks, but no, they straddle the fence and hope that everything turns out all right because they don't want to lose any of their precious soldiers from single child families! Imagine the social unrest (God forbid, by the way) if body bags filled with such folks are sent home to China.

No folks, I don't wish this to happen but China IS too damn critical and seldom ,if ever, puts it's money where it's mouth RE; this issue.
