Or, one can retire to the Philippines, lease a home there, enjoy pretty darn good medical facilities, depending on the "where".....and still have a decent disposable income!

Im not sure about Morocco when it comes to "sound infrastructure", but whatever, no one expects any kind of scientific quality from a list like this.

Ok, I guess you're now mixing a few things up. Of course, the head of FIFA probably did some funny things - but those were made public.

But the other issues you've mentioned are not about corruption - they are more about social inequality and such stuff. I agree that Switzerland is not like Germany in this field - income distribution is much fairer in other german-speaking countries and in Scandinavia. Switzerland is here similar to France, UK, Australia or Canada. But I personally don't see this as a problem. The poorest 20 percent of all households had an income of CHF 5044 (EUR 4203) per month as of 2009 (BFS report on income inequality from 6th of June 2012 - an interesting read, btw), which is still enough to live a decent life - so I don't really see the point in distributing more.

And why would one want to purposely move away their permanent residences from their families and social contacts wherever to, at the time they finally have all the time to enjoy them, and to travel as they like?

Asperger doesn't even get you as socially awkward as that.
