Of course they discuss both sides but are always biased on the side of capitalism.
Unless of cours ...

From what I can remember,  my history and economics teachers seemed somewhere between laissez-faire capitalism and communism.  None were silly enough to be "promoting" one side or the other, otherwise it would have been much easier to remember (It's a little easier to remember the crackpots).  A wise teacher knows to teach, not preach, and strives to encourage students to think and form their own opinions.

College level history and economics teachers are generally the most liberal in this respect; I agree with you on that.
But growing up in the U.S. you are definitely steered toward the capitalist side while communism is something evil
and not even to be considered. So it is with every country, defending their particular political interests.
Why single out China for wanting to protect its way of life. It's allowing plenty of dissent here on this forum...
More so than almost all of the news forums in the U.S. If you went on major media forum in the U.S.
promoting socialism and denouncing the U.S. you would be hounded to no end.
It too would be up to the authorities to decide where free speech and dissent ends and treason begins.
I see no difference in censorship on this forum than of any forum in the U.S.

If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

I was referring to my experience in elementary, Jr. High, High School and college.  Not one teacher referred to communism as evil or something "not even to be considered," even high-school economics. I was fortunate enough to have a Ukrainian elementary school teacher show my class pictures he brought back from the SU:  this was the most damning lesson I can remember as far as communism is concerned; all without mentioning the word.  He also taught us that the SU has people just like the US and we should not forget it.

No need to listen to you any further. You are obviously prejudice against communism and very cute
about it to boot.

""I ALREADY KNEOW""

Is that one of those rarely used words you are so fond of dredging up?

"...without a doubt that robert1237's statement in #23 is rubbish..."

It's not my job here to train monkeys. If you cannot see something this obvious then it's not use
trying to teach either you or your butt buddy, brobosigon. Or is that one of your propaganda ghosts?
