I guess that local government believes the case is inhuman.
How can our local government hire a 72-year-old granny to sweep streets 4 o'clock in the morning?

Now the government offers her aid money because of what?
According to the present laws and regulations, Chinese under poverty threshold (line) can receive aid money from central government and local government. So, the government was only following the laws.

Actually, central government and local government distributed huge amount of aid money to poor Chinese every year. I guess that maybe half of them were wasted in corruption. I heard a lot that those aid money were and are going into the pockets of rich Chinese, not poor Chinese. If you can get aid money, you probably had an inside relationship with the government officials who in charge of aid money.

Oh, don’t you know a latest case? A country town government held a celebration after that country town has gone into the list of National Poor country town. Huge amount of aid money are going there.

At least after news reports, local government began to provide relief to the granny, though the local government should have helped the granny according to the law and regulations.

Don't you know that some government leaders would beat the journalists if the journalists reported the illegal actions, inactions, other negative facts of local governments?

When we are in a corner of life, there is a strong voice  rang out to help and to support .

Still wish do some good deeds earlier in case bad consequences come up.
