I'm afraid you are misleading westerners here.

bā pó is usually used to describe a meddlesome or gossipy lady who likes interfering with other's private things.

Therefore, bā pó: yenta or big mouth.

And the most terrrible word is jiàn rén (or biǎo zī): bitch.
Smile at whatever happens.
任它花开花落,一笑而过!

I beg to differ. Only the characters you find in that drama, 甄嬛传,would use the word jian ren; it's not truly a widely used word in most cities in China. Each city has its own reprehensible terms used by local inhabitants, and it's even a thankless undertanking for out-of-towners to comprehend the import of such  tacky terms or slang terms, as it were.

Tellingly, Chinese women and men use different dirty words when they throw a mardy or when they are bickering with someone. Women are prone to using the words like xia san lan or jian huo, whereas men are disposed to utter such in-your-face terms like za zhong or gou niang xxxxx. Excuse my French. I'm just trying to give you several examples. No offence.

I would argue people should refrain from using such vituperative words, in that it could cause trouble one way or another.   Indeed, if you are male, then that's okay if you ask me.
