My daughters had to watch as we gave them away to total strangers who answered the ad for free rabbits.
I'm sure some ended up as rabbit stew.
When I asked the 'animal control officer' why rabbit ...

Contrast that to ohio where there are little to no laws about animal ownership.

Assad of Syria has less people in prison.

Why ?

Why ?

Travel a bit and you're under a whole different set of laws.
After all, we have to keep all those law makers employed.

But let's not complain too much.
They might come up with a law that states you have to visit the local police when moving to study and pass a test on the laws in that area.
Register with the police when you move???
Well who would have thunk we'd have a 'homeland security' department 20 years ago?
That mammoth agency has pretty much free reign over all of us in the name of ... what's that again...
oh yeah!  'homeland security'.
Why stop there??? Why not have everyone register with the local police? They could sell it as making our country more secure against all
the enemies we create with our military industrial complex. Admit it's constitutional or we'll give you another quiz.

I just don't get how we are so overburden by laws, yet its perfectly fine to have your own zoo and no one is watching to make sure not only that the animals are taken care of, but also if the neighbors are safe.

We obviously have more freedoms that I could ever imagine.

But at least in China not everyone has a half dozen guns in their end tables, under their bed, and in the closets.
I feel safer in China than I do here.
