Revolts  ............

You have forgotten something ............

The Old Goats Masters did keep him close  ............

They extricated him when he had lost THEIR cause  .............

The one that they still support and he still reflects  ..........

Such a shame that this less than independent man cannot realize that his role in life was supposedly to attend to spiritual ends  ............

But what can you expect from the former slave owner come God ................      ?

Just one thing about the Dalai Lama. He has never been exiled by the chinese government. He fled the country. That's a big difference. The CCP mentioned many times the Dalai Lama is welcome in China, including as a spiritual leader, as long as he sticks by the 1951 agreement.

all excuses.

if there is clear strategy, a way will be found to put the D.alai on a throne with no powers and close enough to clip his wings. There is already 40 years to implement the strategy.

the truth is : queen bees only got queen bee strategy. No flexibility, no smartness, only got crudeness.  only got Very blunt strategy because queen bee is over confident and no desire to solve problems.

That is what some seem to want to forget ..........

It is not about Buddhism ...........

But rather the politics of his pay masters  ..........

And to some extent his immediate family who were slave-owner landlords  .........

They miss their land and their slaves ..........

The paymaster would ultimately get the overall control .........

Nice idea ........

But incorrect .............

The ideology is too deep ..........

If the DL told them to do something and get the reward in the afterlife  ...........

They would do it  ..........

That is why Ti.betans suffered quietly as they did in slavery ............

Karma ...............

Really?

Yours hardly comes across as 'opinion' but as official statement. With the credibility problems of officialdom known to all and sundry, your standpoint looks very odd.

The problem is perhaps that in your 'circles' people all have the same opinion and deviation is unthinkable, unwanted and not tolerated.
If I take your comment for face value the vast majority of Chinese have a credibility problem because they dare to not share your ideology or religious belief.
