all the people on that bus were poor and all of them in the train were rich...

Why do you choose the word "all"?

Most of them on that bus were poorer than the people in that train.

Did you read the pics in that crashed train.

I'll copy one in the next post.

Most on the bus were poorer than the folks on the train? How'd you arrive at that mind boggling conclusion? Don't richer (middle class) people take buses too?

From my experience.
I traveled a lot a on long distance coach buses and on trains.

+++++++++++++
Poor Chinese would prefer the Green color trains first. It is the cheapest one.

At least middle income people, usually the upper middle income people and rich people choose "Hexie"-"D" and high-speed "G" trains.

Maybe, in future, more and more Chinese would travel on "Hexie"-"D" and high-speed "G" trains. But it will be in the future, not the present.
+++++++++++++

There are also different coach buses in China.
Type 1: We can enjoy a bottle of water and a piece of cake in coach buses with a high ticket price.
Type 2: We have to suffer the uncomfortable service in another type of coach buses with a low ticket price.

The coach buses in the latest accident of 2011-07-22 was apparently the Type 2 coach buses.
