Of course more and more join the party....but not because they believe in the ideology but in the better career chances and possibilities to gain power and money.^^

are you sure you dont have that chart mixed up with capitalism? seems like Chinese today are misinformed into believing that capitalist countries actually have democracy, and freedom. also, if you look around hang zhou to see the number of foreign shops and brands here, you can perhaps gauge how corrupt the people have become. unless the communist party has some miracle solution, it is going to be very hard to reverse the capitalist poison that has seeped into China. that on top of all the destabilisation efforts put forth by europe, canada, usa, and australia. China has proven strong through the struggle, but i dont think any other country in human history has been put through this level of attack.

Dont try to make us fool.

Read communist party history.

Everyone cannot be a member freely then.

Lack of trust and faith .

Now The party need more quality member who will lead the next generation.

With the expansion of economy the foreign theme also attracted young generation.

So the strictness in the party membership been relaxed for the grater role would be played by new educated ,devoted young.

In China one thing I appreciate the Chinese leader wont follow the hereditical leadership like N.Korea,Cuba etc.
