One CEO of government-own company establishes his own company.

Produces the same products with the same technology in the same market.

5 years later, the government-own company bankrupt, and the former CEO turn to the boss of the private-own company.

+++++++++++++++
hahahaa...It was a widespread case in nearly every Chinese city and town of 1990s. Many Chinese who hold the government power and government-own enterprise power want to get as much huge benefits as possible through the privatization of government-own assets.

Let the ordinary Chinese without such government power accept the game rules. Let they rob the wealth from the public wealth, from the government-own wealth.

Right?

You are such a BLOKE.
You want me to help you explain GOVERNMENT POLICIES of the past.

ha ha ha

Okay, I will help you.

It's called MANIPULATION to motivate Hong Kong or Taiwan's investments into Guangdong, Fujien and Shanghai.
The TEMPTATION of Cheaper workers, Cheaper land, Cheaper electricity, Cheaper water to attract investment and create jobs in Guangdong, Fujien and Shanghai. (The provinces that contributed to the diaspora!)

Alas!

It was more like Clan network, Cantonese clan self help that drove the great investments into Guangdong during the early post 1986 to 1997 periods! In fact, the Taiwan government was "driving hard" for investment to be directed towards Luzon, Malaya, Thailand and Java. Little went into Shanghai or Fujien initially!

ha ha ha

cheerios!

The Chinese people were poor

........because they have OVERPOPULATION, and instead of motivating our citizen to self help, China victorious "workers-farmer factions" instituted "semi-industrial systems" to develop the farms, industries! That kept productivity poor! Productivity poor, plus absence of financial creation wizards (disallowed by communist ideology) - reduce consumer goods, durable available and the money to access it.

cheerios!

Advantage of the "incumbent" is always been there is all kinds of society.

BUT, this makes the "incumbent" lazy, and not very inventive, innovative or creative.
Most of the time, they rely on OPPRESSION to keep their powers.
The "incumbents" use PUBLIC RELATIONS, provide "charity", use "benevolent systems" to keep the people "satisfied".

The "ruled citizenry" have disadvantages, with only persuasive powers (don't have command powers), and so work hard to innovate, create, design new lifestyles. They find loopholes, discover new trades, protected their turfs via many methods to neutralized the disadvantage of the "incumbent" and their "traditional revenue collection" routes!

In China, the DISCIPLINED BUREAUCRACY somehow managed to become the "Unifying force" in China.
The local autonomy, and prosperity of families, clans, regions kept people satisfied.
The life of the "Disciplined Official" is "not very attractive" - but we keep our "Officials satisfied by allowing retirement" - and a "good pension" or "post officialdom business"!

cheerios!

I didn't get what you said in #31.

Actually, in farmland, China learned "He Zuoshe" and "Dui" system from the former Soviet Union and ran in this system until Deng's Reform. Deng turned this planned farm economy turned to market farm economy from Deng's reform.

Yes, the ruling class definitely enjoy more than the ruled class. But there must be a balance. If peole are unsatisfied strongly, and then another political instability would come.

e.g. the Chengguan police department.

Most of the ruled class hate this government department.

Last week in Shanghai, another social conflict took place between the ruled class and the government. 1 government official and 5 temperory government officials in that department beat one Chinese in the street, later, Many ordinary Chinese gathered to protest and were arrested. one police car were burnt, the whole street had been blocked for the whole day.

Such cases are widespread around China nowadays.

People are satisfied????? no...many people are unsatisfied.
