China can grow the healthy way if they wanted to. However China is a very big country and not easy to manage the powerful local warloards. These local warlord brains has been corrupted by greedy Taiwan, HK, Singapore businessmen who tell them the only way to get rich quick
is to speculate in property and they can't wait to get rich as fast as possible.

When the supercomputers project is implemented in 20 years, scholars will takeover the country, all the people will be well fed and clothed. Rich people will be shame to show off their wealth they will be less desire to get rich.

I always betted on the bad weather that reached all planet: drought in Asia, flood in Latin America, etc.

But interesting the hardworking of the political proselytizers who do not a miss the chance to harass China...the inflation is seen worldwide but surreptitiously is presented as if happened only in China.

Perhaps all those whines about surge of prices I read on NYT are from the Chinese community in the US.
