We aren't worried. We are years ahead of China in aviation and Naval science. All you could do is to buy a Russian Varyag Aircraft carrier and refit it with your Chinese weapons copied from the ...

oh really? ... your vikrant carrier is still not complete yet and the service date had slipped to  2015 or 2016.  at least China has acquired four retired aircraft carriers for study and will build its improved version of carrier, could be sooner to enter service than 2015. how in the hell India are years ahead of the Chinese as boast by you.

Dude, are you for real. You can't just start to built a aircraft carrier by looking at the blueprint. Even if you guys had the complete blueprint , it would still take you 10 years from now to come up with a complete hull. Our product started in earnest in 2000 and it has been going well as planned. You are behind by a decade and your anti carrier missile has a efficiency of a cruise missile, nothing great in it.

The how could your little global times say that our plans had failed. If our plans had failed then the Chinese would be in Indian ocean now fishing

I didn't pluck the facts from the sky, on weather it will be launch on 2015 is yet to see ... you are right it took India 10 years to built  Vikrant class AC . Works started in 2008, and the keel was laid in February 2009. In 2007, eighty percent of work on the carrier was expected to be completed before a launch in 2010, but by October 2010 only two of the 21 blocks had been completed.

The first carrier of the class was expected to enter service by 2012, but was delayed by a year reportedly due to the inability of Russia to supply the AB/A grade steel. As a result, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) created facilities to manufacture the steel in India. In August 2009, the military purchasing publication Defence Industry Daily reported that the service date had slipped to at least 2015.

On December 31, 2008 Japan’s Asahi Shimbun

cited Chinese “military and shipbuilding sources” saying that in 2009 the PLA will start building the first of two 50,000-60,000 ton aircraft carriers expected to be launched by 2015.  They would be built in the new Shanghai shipyard on Changxingdao Island.

These would apparently be in addition to the ex-Soviet/Ukrainian carrier Varyag now undergoing reconstruction and refit in Dalian Harbor.

Hi dude ... by another 9 years China will be having 2 more AC to be produced around 2020, and it would be nuclear powered, based on an earlier unbuilt Russian nuclear carrier Ulyanovsk.

Indian AC present & future.

INS Viraat. The Indian Navy presently has one aircraft carrier in active service - Royal Navy's HMS Hermes transferred to India in 1987.

INS Vikramaditya.  refitted at the Sevmash shipyard, former Soviet aircraft carrier Admiral Gorshkov, which has been procured by India, and is estimated to enter service in the Indian Navy after 2012.

INS Vikrant  Expected to launch on 2015. (built in India work begin in 2008)
