The RMB has considerably raised in recent years against the world's main currencies (dollar, euro, pound....) but I didn't see foreign brands in China (eg Nike, Zara, Chanel and many many others) get cheaper in accordance with the change currency rates.... Why is that??
Thank you

Imported goods produced in foreign countries will be expensive unless their government heavily subsidise the export. High wages, government charges such as taxes and environmental levies PLUS the shipping costs which are heavily loaded in most western countries ports. RMB has not changed all that much - except very recent gains against USD$ - US is trying to artificially devalue currency as they are desperate to increase exports and reduce imports.

Many of the brands you mention though are manufactured in China - these goods still  for premium prices on the shelves of Walmarts and others - even though they have been produced cheaply taking advantage of the lower wages and charges associated with manufacture. And what is not manufactured in China is manufactured in Thailand, India, Vietnam and various African states where cheap labour is still making it very profitable for western businesses to move their operations offshore to take advatage and make huge profits.

It's all a game of making money - the consumer pays and the rich get richer.........
Man created god before god created man and the world has been in turmoil ever since. Dots freak some people out - so they join them with lines that aren't really there.

Why Chinese continue to buy ....

Addidas, Puma, Nike, Rolex, Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, etc., etc. ???

Why Chinese continue to drink Coke and eat out at MCDonalds ???

Because it is nice to buy from "bandits" ???

The Anglo hater in this forum have a hard time facing realities !

It's much nicer for the Chinese bandits to pirate-copy those glitzy foreign brands and pretend they are as good as foreign ones.

.
If foreign goods are so good, then why you use a Chinese visa tool?
