Actually, from a constructivistic point of view the sentence "man created god before god created man" is even true for people who do believe in god.

one might have to assume that such a thing had to be created, in which case it is not the creator but a product of creation, not unlike man or animal, or anything else. But there are divisions of creative power! Man creates the home he lives in, for one.

I admit that "Man created god before god created man" doesn't make sense to me either. I understand the "Man created god" part, but not the "god created man" part.

It seems to me that from an atheist point of view, stating "Man created god and there was no god to create man" would make more sense. But maybe I don't understand exactly what kongque is trying to say.
