A chest X ray pronanlt takes a second or so.The astronots would have had to spend some hours within the
van Allen belts. These belts have very high energy protons which chest X rays don't have. You have
characteristically dodged the question about solar flares,Brobostigon.

It is unlikely that they did send anyone through the deadly radiation of the van Allen belts and the possibility
of a solar flare event.For God's sake,sheeple,use your brains.
Of course it was a hoax. There was no plane ...eh....rocket .... eh .... spacecraft.
You did not ask a question about the solar flares; you mentioned them as a "possibility" in post #3. It's like trying to say nobody crossed the street because of the possibility of traffic.
There were no major solar flare particle events during Apollo 8 (and all the other Apollo missions except for 12), so the issue of solar flares is irrelevant.
The dosage of radiation expected when passing through the Van Allen Belts was calculated to be about the same as an x-ray. Dosage includes time duration and particle energy in its calculation so your mentioning them is irrelevant
You've characteristically tried to deflect by asking irrelevant questions and making erroneous accusations.
There is no reason to believe that Apollo 8 was a hoax.
