Actually, the US was built by diversity, this meaning immigrants from all over the world as well as its' native inhabitants. It's this very diversity that makes the US so hard to actually qualify or quantify, makes it dangerous and makes it as successful as it is because it's a group of ideas from a group of people and it's a work in progress. Chinese folks think they're superior because of 5000 years of history but they're still remarkably rude, dirty and selfish.............said without malice or intent to inflame.
The US caused no trouble in my country and when they tried, we flipped 'em the bird, told 'em to come back when they had none of those nasty little nukes on their naval vessels in our territorial waters.....wrong facts, too many generalisations = lack of knowledge.
RE#25; the US illegally invaded Korea? When? If you're talking about 1950, check your facts again. The US acted upon the NK invasion of SK and was mandated, by the UN to lead UN forces in that conflict. What did red China do back then? Oh, that's right, they went on a mass human hunting trip of UN mandated troops legitmately there, uninvited or sanctioned by the UN....facts pal, get 'em right!

Confident in not being the victim of crime. Curiously, China chose not to respond to the UN's crime surveys when it came to public perception of crime....

Look how peaceful they are:

Missile deal can worsen US-Russia ties

WASHINGTON: United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is due next week in the Czech Republic to sign a long-sought but controversial missile shield deal amid fears it will further raise tensions with Russia.

US officials did not rule out Rice’s making a stop in neighbouring Poland to sign a similar agreement to deploy 10 missile interceptors in that country to complement a planned anti-missile radar in the Czech Republic.

The US has never been a peaceful country.  "Peace" is not part of our heritage.

Revolutionary War (1775–1783)
Shays Rebellion (1786-1787)
Northwest Indian War (1787-1794)
Whiskey Rebellion (1791-1794)
War of 182 (1812-1815)
Second Seminole War (1835-1842)
Mexican-American War (1846-1848)
Civil War (1861-1865)
Sioux War (1875-1890)

I don't mean to imply that this is a bad thing, there are many positive aspects to our warlike heritage that I think outweigh the negative.  It's just not right to claim that America is not a "warlike" nation when she has been at war for most of her existence.

And those are just the internal wars!

Nice to see an honest American for a change.
