In UK it is racism

There was a time when I engaged some forumites in discussions as to the meaning of “racism”.
Some forumites said Chinese are “racist” because we distinguish them (the laowais) ...
In the UK, the statement "because we distinguish them (the laowais)" is classed as racist, as are the following statements:
"You black people like rap music don't you" = racist
"You Indians all like to work in supermarkets" = racist
"You foreigners all speak English funny" = racist
That's the point - distinguishing "them" from "us" and generalising is seen as racist in the UK.
When I live in China or other Asian countries I am called a foreigner. It is not my country, so I have no right to complain if people call me foreigner, alien or whatever or if they say things like "you Westerners all like to go to bars". If I complained people will say - "if you don't like our ways, go and live somewhere else"
But Whampoa can complain regularly about the UK, when she lives apparently in Singapore.
So when UK schools fail to achieve the exacting standard of racial equality that the UK set for itself, people from Singapore, China etc jump in to say "terrible! terrible!" Yet, in Asia racism is not racism - it's just treating the Lao Wai, Honkeys, Red Necks, Aliens, Anglos, Westerners etc the way they deserve.
Hop on quick, the bandwagon is departing ...
