I like them. I like how they look like seal script, but I think they could look a little MORE so. Some look like seal script, like JUDO and WRESTLING, but some don't at all, like SAILING and CYCLING. (they are each named in the second link)

What do you think?

Seal Script

For those who don't know, this picture is seal script, which the new symbols are supposed to mimic. The Olympic symbols are supposed to be like this style, but modern, and of course they have to be of little people doing the particular events.

This is what it said in the caption of the picture below:
"Ancient prose from the Xunzi, in seal script, before 1796, by Deng Shiru (1743—1805). Hanging scroll, ink on paper. The Palace Museum, Beijing."

**(I chose this example of seal script, it's not from any Olympic reference)

I like hanzi. I find it fascinating. Here are 3 pics, all of "nu/nv", woman. The first is how it was written on bones & such, the 2nd is seal script (like above), and the last is obviously what we use today.

Can you see how the seal hanzi looks like the Olympic symbols? As I said, I think they should look MORE like seal script, I think they look too modern & simple, but nobody asked ME to sit in on the meetings about it.
