Today  I read an article on WP talking about China's higher education.

the number of teenagers whose parents can afford to put them through secondary school has climbed quickly, creating pressure on college slots once reserved for the privileged few.

The growth of students has produced bulging campuses, overworked professors and graduates unable to find suitable jobs. The teaching quality is declining.

Is there any ather alternative for China's teenages and parents? How to guarantee China's university can povide qualified service?

Yes

Yes, going to University is like paying admissions to get into the game.

Unless you are Bill Gates, that is.  But even though he did not finish college, he did matriculate.

Now if there is a change in policy, and entrepreneurship is actively promoted, and if you are entreprenurial, then all bets are off.

Well, depends!

If you get a degree.....
and your city or province does not have the industry for you to "gain experience"...
then the degree is useless.....

If you get a degree....
but there is too many graduates in the same profession...
then market value become poor...

I use to wonder......a accountancy graduate earns Rmb3,000 a month in Malaya...
a beauticians also makes Rmb3,000 a month in Malaya....
and the beautician can start work at 18 whereas that accountancy graduate starts work at 23-24 years old..

The accreditated Accountants earns much more maybe Rmb20,000 a month....
but a Beautician who owns a facial saloon or school can make equally as much!!!!!!

Depends...........
and i agree with Mr. Tongluren..a GOOD DEGREE with the RIGHT NETWORK gets you FAR FAR in your career!

Survive 's most important

Getting  a  university  or  college degree t ends to secure  these green hands '  future more  than having nothing . At least,  a degree 's  at least  an admission to the job hunting market .
But  the value of the a degree is being deteriorated and declined as the exlosion of  massive college students while  fewer position offered to them. It's a circle worse and worse.
