I think that the best way to lose weight is to walk like jogging more than 30 minutes after dinner everyday or walk before dinner about 30 minutes as well. Remeber dont quick walk after dinner,just wait for 30 minutes later.I managed to lose weight for 10 pounds within 2 months.
Besides, eating less than you did at dinner  will do as well.

I cannot agree with you about "the mood is important " too much ,  but I don`t think you can each whatever you like, one should try his best to deny himself
