re: " this called democracy , human rights and freedom of speech in Hong Kong? How ironic!

It's called the 'Black Clothed and masked up Rioters freedom'.
They have all the freedom in the World...

Are you aware why they're rioting-burning and damaging millions worth of equipment in Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway, MTR every time they have a go at it...

The reason is because MTR stopped special services for the rioters as an escape route once the police arrived...free of charge and no other passengers were allowed on the train, because they did stop at other stations...

Why did MTR stop this convenient service for the rioters!!    How unfair and undemocratic...

Now MTR is paying the price for such an undemocratic behavior towards our black clad rioting freedom lads...

Personally, I'd reopen the service again; with a good catch of black clad rioters on board the train would have a mechanical malfunction and stop inside a tunnel...

    That's what I'd call a good catch...

and Minister for education

That can happen on Mainland but not so easy in HK where the laws protect them from being fired, they can go through the court system for their rights. That's why rioters are released same day as charged, on bail, and travel the world calling on foreign countries to intervene in HK. Can you beat that?

re: " the court system"

  Yes, Indeed...
However, people should remember, nothin is written in stone...
Something penciled on a blackboard by an occupier is rather meaningless...

As an example;  the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom was formally established on 1 October 2009.
The Supreme Court of Hong Kong could be established after 1st October 2019.

This might make the mandatory retirement 70 years of age and restrict any subject or citizen of a foreign power...(Australia age limit is 70 years). The appointment of a Justice of the High Court shall be for a term expiring upon his attaining the age of seventy years, and a person shall not be appointed as a Justice of the High Court if he has attained that age...
The Justices will not wear wigs and had to reside 185 days a year for the last 15 years within their future jurisdiction before taking office...

An example of Australia:  The court stuck to a literal reading of the constitution: if a politician had held actual dual citizenship at the time of their election, the election was invalid - regardless of whether they were aware of their dual citizenship or not.

At the same time, Hong Kong is proud to say that they host 14 non permanent foreign judges...
