Viewing through the Chinese eyes, I see no friendly Democratic Presidential candidates.

Sanders did say, "China was a totalitarian country", bringing up human rights.
But I find him most reasonable and rational man.
Not going to escalate the US presence near China.
or involve us in China's territorial claims (aka Taiwan and HK)

On the other hand....
China might just want an idiot representing America (great PR)

Ha;

There's only ONE party in the stolen Land:   ANTI Middle Kingdom...

The most criticism come from right wing republicans.
Democrats want to be know for being pragmatists.

I think Americans are tired of war and very skeptical about what their government tells them (Iraq)
China is NOT the American boggie man.
(they supply the cheap goods needed

Well, some people might be tired of war,

But with Military Bases in 80 Countries they seem to be humming away happily...

The United States Army has approximately 36 military bases in Germany.   Secret locations of U.S. nuclear weapons in Europe accidentally included in report from NATO parliament...

U.S. nuclear weapons are being stored in Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Turkey...

According to a copy of the document published Tuesday by Belgian newspaper De Morgen, a section on the nuclear arsenal read: “These bombs are stored at six US and European bases — Kleine Brogel in Belgium, Büchel in Germany, Aviano and Ghedi-Torre in Italy, Volkel in The Netherlands, and Incirlik in Turkey.”

Anyone still remember Ed Miliband?
Yeah, he was the leader of the opposition Labour Party between 2010 and 2015.
No, he never did become the Prime Minister. Any other Labour Party candidare could have won against Teresa May in 201, but not Ed. The reason was not too hard to find.
Ed Miliband looked awkward. He had this funny speech impediment voters weren't comfortable with.
The guy just lacked the leadership look.

Unfortunately, I also see Sanders lacking the same Presidential leadership look.
Running against Trump, he has zero chance.

Joe Biden may just pull it off against Trump.

That is why I would put in Tulsi Gabbard as NSA chief.
She is a war vet and has stated a strong position against "never ending war".
You can be sure there will be a lot of scrutiny when it comes to military action.

Joe Biden may just pull it off against Trump.

In the polls, almost anyone beats Trump.
He got in because people thought Hillary was a shoe in.
Instead of voting they did other things.
Now that people see what Trump is (lying bigot).
We are NOT going to make the same mistake.

Biden will be a puppet to the establishment that controls American politics.
Sanders is the progressive path needed for change by not accepting corporate donations.
Can Biden pledge that?
I don't think so.
