By law, Hong Kong Government employees are not permitted to participate in political demonstrations.
If any government medical professions, teachers, fire service, civil servants or police staff are convicted of the recent political motivated violent street riotings, they should be sacked; stripped off their lavish golden nesting government retirement pension.

The radicals are sticking their eyesore propaganda leaflets all over the city calling for an all out strike next week in their anti-government action.
Few groups have responded.
Again it is the employees from the teaching profession, the foreign banks and foreign airlines that are showing the enthusiastic support.
The teachers employed by the government should be fired if they join in the political motivated strike.

Officers in protective gear try clearing the young thugs are been attacked with bricks and metal stalk umbrellas. They are forced to retreat back into their police station.

While the West cheer this in hope of impeding China, this nonetheless is a blessing for China.

First China should properly make this a case study for why Asians need to be wary of Western influence - how they use democracy, freedom of speech and action to destroy Asia. Philippines had for years been under the American influence but it is not even an Asian power until today. In fact it even had to give in to the rebellions' demands by surrendering its federal authority in southern Philippines and is made to pick a war with China. Asian nations bordering the West have all been bombed with Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria all having been invaded. However if one studies the recent invasions Iraq, Libya and Syria all have oil while Afghanistan sits central amongst Russia, China, Iran and India which is very convenient and strategic for espionage and spying activities.

Second hopefully, this protest dent Hong Kong's economic growth somewhat. This will give Hong Kong and Mainland an opportunity to restart things. Property prices must come down. The british and the super rich Hong Kong people did a lot of business between them but nothing for the majority. So its time to correct that. Write a new chapter together, both the people from Hong Kong and Mainland.

Third, Hong Kong has to slowly change its property supply chain. There needs to be properties provided by the Government for the common people. These properties should bar the super rich from buying them directly or indirectly via nominees with strict punishment that will jail the patriarch or matriarch together with the non-qualifying perpetrator if the patriarch or matriarch is found to have funded its non-qualifying offsprings or any others to buy such properties. The quality and facility of these properties should be respectable. This has a strong impact on children of the families who stay there.

Fourth is that closer social integration is required between the Mainland and Hong Kong. this will mean alleviating somewhat Mainland's financial and legal mechanisms. Not that it is under performing but it needs to have certain degree of flexibility and sophistication.

Fifth, the Hong Kong people's psychology needs to be attended to. The british atrocities, they can't feel it. Such atrocities wasn't just against China but Chinese were certainly badly treated and belittled by the british. This has to be ingrained into the Hong Kong people.

It is no coincidence the vast majority of the separatists are from the well to do elitists and western leaning organisations.
Calling for the coming August 5 all out strike comes from the usual trouble-making anti-China opposition party members, former top civil servants who served under the last British rule, religious leaders, airline staff, bankers, teachers and medics.
All these top earning professions did very well under British rule.
They have one common necessary qualification; that of fluency in English......

Is this the reason for their proclamation:
"We are Hong Kong people, we are not Chinese"?

By law, Hong Kong Government employees are not permitted to participate in political demonstrations. ...

Wrong; civil servants in HK have the rights under the Basic Law of freedom of speech and freedom to protest. If this were not the case then the police would be arresting tens of thousands of them.
